April 2, 201016 yr I need to know if I am missing anything else that would make the sim BETTER than it ALREADY have obtained. Any suggestions must be validated as loading up the below mention programs make me feel like real flight planning. It takes about 15 minutes just to get to starting FS9.1. It is worth it but one more thing must be important to add to the time already.Ulimate Terrain depending on night or dayActiveSky 6.5 the rest of the programs need itGround Pro II based on weather conditionsREX 2004 Extreme last but not least WOOOWWW!!Carl Perry 7+ year sim pilot

April 2, 201016 yr "MY World" landclass for whole world...and you good to go. My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....
April 2, 201016 yr Consider FSBuild for a flight planner. It interfaces with AS6.5 gettings winds aloft for better fuel planning. I'm attaching a navlog from FSBuild 2.3 with weather fetched from Active Sky.
April 2, 201016 yr I agree with all the above.I use the same setup as you (except ASE instead of AS6.5 - it gives much better cloud layers compared to AS6.5, much, much better turbulence effects and it sorts out low level vs high level visibility).I can also highly recommend Radar Contact (I am a real life ATCO, and it is the most realistic of them all). It really adds some real world realism.FS Build is great for flight planning, gives a very realistic navlog/load sheet, and has a great online planner linked in to it, where you need but put in your departure and destination airports, and it comes up with a real world route. It also exports the flightplans to all needed formats (including most good addon aircraft's FMS). It also links in the AS6.5/ASA/ASE winds to adjust flight times and fuel burn. Finally, if you want more realism than most people can handle, get Leonardo's Maddog 2008 Pro. It takes a while to get into, but when you have mastered it and purchased the Brilliant voice activated FS2Crew to go with it, you will be blown away!Neil

This is not a plane to play with. Radar Contact sounds good. I like your comment about it. Flight plans is not a problem I have to many sources for that. Heard about problems with ASE.CArl Perry 7+ year sim pilot
