May 30, 201016 yr Author Have you tried doing a similar thing with the scenery cfg. What i mean is, because you cant get into MSFS to delete things the normal way edit the scenery cfg by removing all entries above say level 40.Then try and load msfs.I keep reading this thread because soon after installing EPWA 2010 i started having the same problems you are getting.I have looked at that scenery and one of the bgl. files is called traffic, although it is not an Aircraft traffic bgl. i am wondering if MSFS is trying to load it as if it were, then on finding out it cant it throws out the OOM,or ntdll, etc etc.I know it is not an aircraft traffic file because i tried to break it down with T/TOOLS and it couldn,t do it.Stan,I deleted everything in my Scenery.cfg file, except the default scenery that came with the game. Still "Building Scenery Database". Still OOM.Adam
May 30, 201016 yr Is this with the traffic off as well.If it is i would do a complete re-install.I have had to do it and i am slowly trying to get it back as it was.If you do a complete re-install dont forget that you will have to uninstall the fs9.1 Patch first. You can save things like the aircraft that you fly, gauges, effects and anything else that you think you might need but save them away from your fs9 folder. If you have cleared everything then it should load, then you can bit by bit put things back into it,testing each time you add something to make sure it still loads. This is how i got mine working again and at the moment i am flying EGLL/KJFK.Dont forget to remove the Backup folder that the patch installs or it wont remove everything. You have to manually delete the fs9 cfg file.No point in saving it if it wont load.
May 31, 201016 yr Moderator Bill,You say the only solution to throwing too much at FS9 is to increase the RAM. Why couldn't I just get FS9 down to a level where it can handle what I have?Well, you certainly can do that. It may well be that you've gotten into a situation where some scenery is corrupted...I simply pointed out that with what you've already got installed, it might be the only option.OTOH, another 1GB of memory would probably be under $30. Of course, if your machine is that old, finding memory might be challenging...If I knew what you needed, I've got a LOT of unused "antique" memory lying around doing nothing at all, and I'd happily mail it to you free of charge! I wrote down all the numbers on the memory sticks that I've got. Here they are, in no particular order: I have two 512mb memory sticks, with two slots left over for two more memory sticks. MT8VDDT6464AG-335C1 (one of the sets of numbers). PC2700U025331-A1 (another set of numbers). A0069GB and right next to that, but with no hyphen, is 200419. Below that, it says 512mb, DDR, 333, CL2.5 (with the commas). Below that is the final set of numbers: 590-504958.Thank you very much for helping with the memory. I would be happy to take one of your hands, if you have one. I have looked at a couple of sites online, and there are some for under $30. I just have absolutely no idea which one to buy, so I am very appreciative of your help. Thanks again very much Bill for all your help so far, and for everybody else who has helped so far as well,Adam

June 2, 201016 yr Moderator I've just checked, and so far I've found 1 stick of PC2700 512MB 333, and 3 sticks of PC2700 256MB 333.I'll check around in the morning in some of my "junkers" and see if I can find another stick of PC2700 512MB 333 lying around... ;) Fr. June 2, 201016 yr Hi again Adam. You may wish to try this idea: Go to http://www.crucial.com/ and use their "Crucial Memory Advisor

Since best results are obtained by installing memory in pairs, just sending this one stick would not be of much help... :(OTOH, if you do want it anyway, PM me with your mailing address and I'll mail it to you.
