June 21, 201015 yr Ahmet, Nhancer won't activate because, as clearly stated in NickN's instructions, Nhancer does'nt work with the latest drivers. Make sure you don't have Nhancer set to start automatically with windows. If you have followed all the instructions in the link you quoted, which it sounds as if you have, then you should be seeing the same results as you did using Nhancer. Works perfectly with my GTX260 and I've now uninstalled Nhancer as it's no longer needed.Russell.
June 21, 201015 yr What is a G3D.DLL crash? I don't know what that is, but this evening, about an hour or so into a perfect flight suddenly the screen froze but the sound continued. Could not get out of it. Had to eventually hit the off button. Not a hint that anything was wrong. That has happened twice now. Has this happened to anyone else? I have 267.21 installed with Nick's Q8 profile settings.StephenThe HIGHMEMFIX=1 placed in the GRAPHICS section of the config file fixes that! If you got this fault...(there was lots of threads on this..and is NOT a result of the 257.x series) nobody could come up with a viable solution (it affected flights off and on, system over system...) but when Bojote came up with the HIGHMEMFIX=1 I found that to be the permanent cure for my system.
June 21, 201015 yr I'm pretty sure the HIGHMEMFIX=1 tweak is just for graphic corruption, not for system freezes/CDT which are related to the usepools=0 tweak instead, but I could be wrong. The rejectThreshold one would be the alternative then. Replace the usepools=0 with:RejectThreshold=98304if it still crashes, up it toRejectThreshold=131072or evenRejectThreshold=262144The lower the threshold, the closer to usepools=0 you are The HIGHMEMFIX=1 placed in the GRAPHICS section of the config file fixes that! Curious on what could have caused this, I went to my event viewer. It indicated that FSX had a fatal error due to G3D.DLL error. This is a graphics library in FSX, I think, anyway when I did a Google on it, found that some new graphic drivers can cause this. Since I had this occur once with the new nVidia driver I rolled back to the 1.97 and it worked great.Just for the record I have ALL of *******'s tweaks installed and they work great. If anyone has seen something on 8800GT cards and the new nVidia drivers please let me know.ThanksBob

OK Now I understood the procedure.1- I uninstalled Nhancer,. re-boot PC. FSX settings Trillinear checked. AA ON Checked. Airplanes wings edges gigs APPEARED2-Trilliner checked. AA CHECKED .No more gigs. Wings edges are SMOOTH. Nick's instructions :"NOTE: With the new profiles posted above and the 257.21 WHQL release drivers the full override function now works. This means you should UNCHECK the AA box in FS9 and FSX"Why my settings works if I checked AA box?Will I leave it like that? Thanks Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"

The wrong memory arrived, so I am waiting for a replacement. Meanwhile I have just dialed back my video card somewhat.Stephen
June 25, 201015 yr The new 257.21 release seems to have cut the frames on my 9800GT in half.. I don't use nHancer since it only caused problems. What is the previous most stable driver?*EDIT*Nevermind guys I attribute that to my shoddy job testing stability after overclocking last night. New drivers work great and FS looks the best I've seen!Alex
