Best Carenado planes for FS9 ?

Featured Replies

Hello,There's a sale going on on Carenado for FS9 aircraft (30% off), can you recommend the best models that Carenado has designed for FS9 ? I'm planning to buy 2 or 3.Best regards,Auriga.

Mooney Bravo and the Bonanza v tail are my favorites. I spend a lot of my flying time in both.

Mooney, Archer and Seneca if you ask me me. :( I bought Archer when they had a great discount and, man, how I enjoyed it!

The Cessna 206 Stationair. Great as she is, retrofitted with RXP gauges she's a work of art. Sounds like an old muscle car as well! :( Cheers, SLuggy

I think the Mooney and the 206 will go down in history as Carenado's 2 best efforts.Jim

Well hopefully the new F33A and Caravan for FS9 will be contenders as well.

Thank you all for your advice, I'm very interested in the 206 and the bonanza v-tail.Best regards,Auriga

I've got both of them, the V-tail seems a little overpowered to me, although I'm not a real pilot. I believe the Bonanza was one of Carenado's earlier efforts, but it's still great. I'm just biased towards the 206, especially with the extra pack with the floats, etc. The 206 is still my favourite Carenado, although the Mooney isn't far behind. I haven't bought any of their more recent offerings tho.Cheers, SLuggy

I'm another one for the 206. I have the 182Q, 182RG, Archer, Mooney, and the 206. With floats and a cargo variant, it's a very useful aircraft. I've got mine fitted with the Reality XP 430 WAAS and Flightline T gauges and it's a blast. I fly in Alaska a lot with the float variant.Great sounds, accurate flight dynamics and handling.Robert
