July 21, 201015 yr Author Hı guys, new sperry 177 in test progress on my compt :) Martyn, how can we add that line ( <update frequency="6"/>) on XML file? It looks like html codes but I couldn't find correct line group. You are right if we can make smooth adjust would be much better.thanksYou can put it almost anywhere, but I put it in the third line as follows:<Gauge Name="737-300 MCP" Version="1.01"> <Copyright>Copyright 2004 Paul Scarratt</Copyright><Update Frequency="6"/>
July 23, 201015 yr thank you for your help. Now Sperry177 does work as well. I made a few test flight, there is no any problem except some of sound lost (fan sound) while looking to right or left side but after a few seconds sounds comes back. I don't know is it connected with this modification.I strongly advise to make this little XML code adding as above , if you didn't do yet, you will be need it :) hakan"737"guven Istanbul/Turkey

It resumes about 2-3 seconds later, as you mentioned.
August 9, 201015 yr Yes, his videos are great, his custom work is excellent. However, I hardly watch them anymore as he is NOT willing to share his panel work. I really don't care for show offs. This is not his work. This panel is available in the AVSIM library by Fabrizio Berreta who is seems has made many variations of the early 737 panels. It looks very similar to the panel in file fab733an.zip. pve Paul EGLD

August 10, 201015 yr Wow, the first modification looks excellent.Found a movie on youtube...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=occ1A_3EACg

I really don't care for show offs.I'd have to agree with this statement. He has to be the most selfish MSFS pilot in the community. I mean really, here's a guy who has no problem using other freeware add ons, but wont share with the community. He has to be an only child.

November 28, 201015 yr Author I am growing close to releasing version 2.0 of my Tinmouse II Sperry 177 gauge, this time with options for the condensed FD control preserved option as well as the non-condensed FD removed as pictured below. This release will mirror and look more closely like a true Sperry 177, and contains corrections to the known issues with the previous version.I hope to have the release out soon! Here's 2 screenshots below of the two options which will be included:

November 28, 201015 yr Were you able to fix the sticky cursor problem when tuning knobs?ThanksP.S. Great work!
November 28, 201015 yr Author Indeed! It was the refresh rate of the gauge, which has been corrected. The new modification is available here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/319493-tinmouse-ii-sperry-177-modification-version-20-released/
December 1, 201015 yr Indeed! It was the refresh rate of the gauge, which has been corrected. The new modification is available here: http://forum.avsim.n...on-20-released/ Another quick question. If I use the extended version, will the "APP" button work? Im using the condensed version right now. Thanks
December 1, 201015 yr Yes, the APP button works with the 'uncondensed' version - and why wouldn't it? It's the same gauge, just the display dimensions are different.Speaking of the uncondensed display (my preferred option), installation of this removes the original TMII FD controls from the glareshield. The flight director switch functionality in the updated MCP has been removed as it doesn't switch on the FD bars in the PFD, since there looks to be extra logic in the original TMII gauge that's necessary for this. Apart from activating the FD switch again for cosmetic purposes (not difficult), what I've done is to simply relocate the original TMII FD controls to a blank area on the lower area of the panel, and included the default 734 pitch trim control wheel for good measure. The TMII FD gauge has an invisible background so that the switches don't look out of place when re-located. So if you deactivated the original FD gauge to install the full-width version of the MCP, you can re-insert it somewhere else, and regain the FD functionality by modifying the gauge location parameters like this:;gauge31=B732ADV!fd_cont, 709, 372, 174, 101gauge31=B732ADV!fd_cont, 1010, 886, 118, 75 //location movedAlso, if you add the following line to the main panel.cfg section, you get the pitch trim control wheel also:gaugeXX=737-400!Pitch Trim, 960, 886, 35Just replace XX with the next sequential gauge number in the section. This gives you the FD controls and pitch trim wheel on the blank plate underneath the engine control readouts.Out of interest, if anyone else has used the TMII panel as a basis for a Classic mod (737-300 to -500 series) and have used the payware ISG1 gauges to replace the 732 steam gauges, the updated Sperry 177 will activate the FD bars in the CRT display. So if you plan to do this, then it would be worth reactivating the FD switch on the MCP.;)
December 3, 201015 yr Author I've just uploaded the new version to the network. It should be live in a day or two.
