If I'm not mistaken, I believe there is a sync app that lets you sync Outlook completely. I haven't tried it yet, but I'd be glad to pick it up and give it a shot to let you know. Haven't had a need because I don't use Outlook anymore.
I believe with the Droid you'll need to use an app like CompanionLink

Most of the high end android phones come out of the box ready to fully sync with Outlook.
Right you are. I just tried it and didn't need any app. It even had a one-touch step to sync everything.

Forgive me for being stupid but I do have a 4 year old phone so I am not up on the current tech.Droid is a brand name of a phone. Android is the OS that Droids and many other phones operate with? So, if Android phones sync out of the box, they sound like what I am looking for. Any suggestions for those? Thanks again for the help.BTW, I am looking at Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.

I have, and really love, the DroidX. I'd say it's worth a look. I had the HTC Hero, which was also a fantastic phone, and I also preferred it over my iPhone4. I've been thinking about adding the Evo to my fleet as well. It's a big boy, but that is great for using the web, watching movies, or just about everything else.......might seem a bit big for making a phone call though. There's one more that I really like, but the name escapes me right now. It was like the HTC Hero, but had a sliding keyboard. Looked pretty good for people who tend to fat finger a lot, as I do. I use Sprint for my DroidX, and the service has been tenfold better than AT&T. Never a dropped call, the web is fast, and it's cheaper. I get unlimited cell to cell, web, and text, and 1500 minutes (25 hours) landline for less than AT&T and Verizon. Not sure how much landline is if I exceeded 1500 minutes, but that would never happen in my case.My wife uses Verizon, and I had a flashed phone with horizon until it fried a few days ago. It was a bit steep, but the web service was really good. I think unlimited text and web cost me an extra $30ish a month.Never used T-Mobile.......somehow managed to resist the Catherine Zeta-Jones allure.

Jeff to add to the converation I changed phones a few years ago and got the T-Mobil G1 which uses the Droid operating system. I've had the phone for about 2 years now and have been very happy with it, not to mention the service from T-Mobil has been nothing short of perfect. In the past I had At&T and Sprint and frankly their service, prices and customer service left a lot to be desired. Honestly I wanted to get an iPhone, but the service for unlimited talk and internet would have cost me about $135 a month with tax. Instead with T-Mobil I get unlimited talk/long distance and internet for about $80 with tax. For the difference of $55 a month I just couldn't justify the AT&T service and dropped calls my friends in the area have with AT&T.The G1 which I have is now become the My Touch and they have a model with and without the slide key pad. My girlfriend has one and shes love it also.If Apple had signed the agreement with T-Mobil originally I would have bought the iPhone no doubt. I have an iPod Touch which is pretty similar to the phone and I love it and wish everyday I could have the phone but for now I will have to settle for the Android phones.I heard on CNBC the other day that RIMM (Research in Motion) the makers of Blackberry phones have something up their sleves as far as a new phone to compete with the iPhone. Maybe they will come out with something better than the Android or iPhones?

I doubt that everyone was been waiting to find out what I think I am going to get but this is what I am looking at:T-Mobile - seems to have the best combination of price and satisfied customers. Consumer Reports puts them just behind Verizon but Verizon would be about $20 more per month. I am debating between the myTouch and the myTouch slide.Do the slide keyboards have any issues or is it just personal preference? The myTouch slide is about $80 more per phone. My wife just started a job with the Federal Government so we are waiting until all of her credentials are set up so we can get the govt. discount.

I've never had any problems with any of the sliding keyboard phones that I've had, but in the interest of full disclosure, that doesn't include too many. I currently have an HTC Moment hanging around the house somewhere that I used through Sprint (I think), and it was a great phone. I also had a couple other phones with the sliding keyboards for use with my Verizon and AT&T accounts, and have never had any issues with them. I actually preferred them for typing instead of the touchscreen because I have a tendency to fat-finger the letters, but I resolved that with by getting the DroidX, and the newest member of my phone collection, the EVO. You might want to consider talking to the folks at Best Buy, if there happens to be one in your area, and ask them about their $10.00 warranty plan just in case something were to happen. I prefer that over the company plans.
