If I remember correctly, you had to purchase concrete, then buy WA56. WA56 appeared as a purchase of $0 dollars.You need a purchase order, date, and code in order to install.That said, since he bought Concrete during the sale, he should get WA56 free. They don't have to do anything they don't want to do.

It's Orbx's deal so they set the rules. The deal was you could order WA56 for free during July if you bought 3W5 during July. Well, he ordered 3W5 in July but not WA56 so... that's it, deal over, no WA56. Still, I understand it's a bit different than one would expect and I do have to say the information on the FSS WA56 and 3W5 pages wasn't very clear about this... (the Orbx forum was, though). And the fact that the WA56 page stated 'Available August 1st' didn't help either, of course... But again, it's Orbx deal and they can do whatever they want to do. I do think (hope) though that the next time they do a promotion like this (I sure hope this all won't prevent them from doing so), it will be handled a bit more different and clearly (there were quite some posts on the forum from people who were confused about the way you could get access to the free download). I mean, if WA56 had simply been included in the 3W5 download (just during July), their wouldn't have been any problems or complaints or whatever, not during the promotion nor after. But again (pardon me for repeating this everytime): it's Orbx deal and they may set the rules anyway they want to. And let's not forget this was an AWESOME deal too...!!!

I agree! In defence of ORBX, the free addition of WA56 to the Concrete package was first offered only to those who pre-ordered Concrete. Shortly thereafter it was generously extended to all those who bought Concrete and who downloaded WA56 before the end of July. Therefore, if you bought Concrete, and qualified for the free WA56 download, but failed to download WA56 before the cut-off date, you no longer are able to do so. This is officially stated on the ORBX forums to have been clearly defined all along so as no misunderstanding should have reasonably taken place. Please go to the ORBX forums for compete information.Presumably anyone who bought Concrete during that same time but did not download it, should still be able to do so, but not along with WA56. However it is always best for anyone faced with similar circumstances to directly ask the developer or duly authorized representatives only for proper clarification. Understandably, if a different understanding was held by anyone, including myself, for any reason whatsoever, other than what is presently stated as policy, it is deemed to have been held in error. Therefore I stand corrected from my earlier comments and apologize for my poor judgment in offering any opinion that may have been deemed so. Anyway, since we are only customers whatever we might think about such policies matter little, so I intend to just keep enjoying both Concrete and Israel's Farm as they go hand in hand with my favourite airport package in Darrington. I hope we can look forward to other great sceneries in the region to come. Perhaps there will be other package offers in the future, which I may perhaps take advantage of. I remember having hard time with understanding it myself, but FSS concrete store page clearly stated:"How to get the freebie! (yes, in bold on the website)1. Existing Concrete Muni purchasers simply login to your account and add Israel's Farm to your shopping cart for a 100% discount.2. New Concrete Muni purchasers add Concrete to your cart, then add Israel's Farm for absolutely no additional cost."Yes, i'm sorry if you didn't read everything... But thats just your own fault. It was clearly stated all the time since reveal of WA56, and had many many posters up on ftx website and fss website and text how to get the free airport. If you decide to rush into buying something and not reading how to get the freebie, then its just your own fault.And, As far as i can search orbx forum threads about israel's, it was from beginning stated that pre-pay customers get the wa56 early when they download early concrete (original 3W5 prepay deal) and then when concrete is available for normal purchase, untill august all concrete buyers get israel's farm for free. I'm sorry but it was your fault.

I am sorry you thought that, even though everyone is entitled to their opinion about other people's work, but sad that you would say so like this.A number of generous people did a lot of really good work on the 2S1 Vashon Island airport, and gave it away for free so that others could enjoy it. I really appreciate what they did and am glad to receive it as essentially a thoughtful gift and a really great place from which to practice my short field take-offs and landings. I would never want to seem unappreciative or ungrateful of other peoples contributions. As you just said, perhaps you would not have liked Israel's Farm either. I love both. So, to get your free WA56 you simply log into your FSS account, proceed through the WA56 checkout process and if your purchase of 3W5 was before August 1st, you'll get a 100% discount.And if I may ... WOW that is fantastic.. I would never expected this kinda of service. I will continue to support ORBX and happy to add WA56 to my collection. True class act on ORBX on taking care of there customer, even though they didnt have to. Truely thanks again!! I will be a loyal fan and get back in line. :(
