When I get exhausted from all the Amsterdam long hauls, I look forward to taking the American/UPS/Fedex MD11 paints on trips within the US!

Well I finally got the chance to check out your American Airlines Lee. Top notch work. Really incredible. The metal look alone is worth the price of admission. Very very nice. Great work on the bump files too, I never thought it would make such a difference and never bothered to try them, but they're truly remarkable.

I frequently hear and see people talking about those so called bump files... I feel stupid having to ask but what in the world is that actually and what do they do??Thanks for any explanation about these :(

Im really happy you like them . The bumps were a bit tricky matching up the rivets , i recently got some stick for making the bump files the same size as the fuse files which surely is a no brainer . Ive added new spec files to the Finnair Santa paint they will enhance the windows giving a little reflection to them . Christian nice job on the Martinair paint it looks fantastic as a rule i normally dont comment on other repaints as we are all in the same boat , we contribute to a community .Im so glad this topic has grown and people like them ive recently been slated in forums for these paints . As long as you guys like them i will keep doing them thank you for downloading them . I will finally release the Sabena paint this weekend and possibly an LTU for my German friends and a TAM , dont hold me to it though Lee Marrow

As for the metal on that American paint i lost sleep over that one it took ages to get it looking something like , i just kept getting funny lines and shadows on the top of the fuse .Lee Marrow

Haha, yeah I know exactly what you mean. I have lost days on end in Photoshop and getting a good metal look isn't an easy job. It's never just a silver or grey color like people might see, it's gradients, multiple layers in some cases, and sometimes lots of alpha work.

Ok i hope your all enjoting your HD flights , first off some new things i should let you know about .Updates coming in the next paint so really you should download it to get the new spec files and bump files , they will be included in the Sabena paint . The specs will add some nice reflections to the windows and wings the bumps will add to the wings and fuselage . Also added more depth to the rivets on the fuselage you might get some sparkling off them in strong light Also in the Sabena paint more HD added the tsil is now larger added more detail to the wings underside and on top , the wings are now based on KLM so expect a KLM update . Testing the Sabena paint now so shouldnt be long before its released . EnjoyLee Marrow

I would love a AOM repaint..... thanksGreg

too much, too soon....
