Imagine Sim support?

Featured Replies

Anybody know if Imagine Sim provides support to their customers? I've e-mailed them a couple of times, with no reply. I can't find a forum for them, so it appears e-mail is the only way to reach them.

Same here Curt. I have emailed them before for support on KATL and sometimes they answer and sometimes not. Hard to know why. Maybe they dont check email often or the support requests end in their spam folder.

It's really a shame. We spend our hard earned money on this developer and they don't make a concerted effort to rectify the problems with their airports. I'm still waiting for a KLGA and San Juan full FSX upgrade. Their FSX versions are not very good at all and their support system is apathetic.

guys..to be honest....how u all can spend 20-25 bucks for the imagine sim airport? even like freeware i wont play them. if u have to spend 20-25 bucks do it for flytampa (so u can support martin), do it for FTX orbx, do it for fsdreamteam!!!! and do it for uk2000 (their new technic is improving and the scenery is get better and better). or save your money for the san francisco flightbeam team. but not imagine sim. im sorry to be that rude but for me their sceneries are over priced....9.90 euro is the correct price. almost forgot.....sim-wings!!!! regardsroger

I only have 2 of their airports, KATL and KCLT. KATL I bought cuz it is my home town airport and nobody else has done it. Dont know why I got KCLT but it makes for a nice short flight from KATL to KCLT. Believe me, if I knew what I know now about them I would have spent my money elsewhere for sure. I do own some of the other big name scenery packages and out of all of them I like Fly Tampa's the best. Long story short... we live and learn folks!

Unfortunately, ORBX does not make San Juan, PR.All one has to do is look at the new picks of YMML V.2 or the new KDFW to really appreciate how a quality airport should be designed. At the right price! The interesting thing is that Imagesim is still creating new scenery instead of fixing their broken ones.

KATL is not that bad but it could use a few things to be fixed.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_C1PSuJOrk

Well I spend the money because who else makes KATL and KCLT?Sometimes even knowing the support is bad, you have no choice if no one else makes the airport of your choice. Trust me, I would rather have bought the 3 airports I have from them from FlyTampa or FSDT, but they dont make those airports, so I have no other choice except to go without. Frankly, I dont mind or have had any problems with the 3 airports I have from them. I have not yet updated to the new version of KATL however since Jeron?(jwenham) showed me how bad the new lights look.

They really need to up their game (not their prices) to be a credible payware developer. The performance of Charlotte is atrocious.

The LGA update came out on May 2. There is a patch for San Juan that came out 2/08. I have not noticed any issues with San Juan since that update.http://www.imaginesim.com/tjsjupdates01.htm With updates, the following seem to work properly now (of the ones I own):KLGAKATLTSJSKMCIKCVGMYNNI also have KCLT but FSX and AES will not even recognize it. I have tried reinstalling without luck. I am waiting on the FSX SP2 patch to try again. I would like KIAD, KSJC and WSSS when it is released but I want the IAD and CLT updates released before I give them any more money. I just don't trust that their stuff will work properly at the moment.I do have to give them credit for doing DTW for FS2002/04. No other company will touch anything in Michigan for some reason. #2 hub for #1 airline, 2 new terminals and 0 interest. I wish they would redo it for FSX. They probably deceided against a forum after the DTW backlash spawned by poor FPS and pink aprons. Nontheless, their stuff has improved over the years.

Thanks for the replies, I see I'm not alone. If you buy three or more airports at a time, they can be had for only $16 each. They aren't up to the quality of FSDT or FT, but at that price it's hard to resist.

It must depend on your setup cause I get about 30 to 35 FPS on approach there in the LDS 767 w/100% UT2 AI. I'm actually pretty happy with that airport of theirs.

They are a good niche. For people like me who want something better than default and any freeware for an important hub like MEM or SDF. There are a lot of smaller airports that need at least some makeover.

I think you mean Blueprint?I won't buy Blueprint products because they don't want AES support. For the level of detail their products offer, AES is a must IMHO.I wish ImagineSim would do Louisville. I would probably buy that one regardless of the issues with their other products. I'd buy a new DTW as well (hint, hint ImagineSim).
