August 25, 201015 yr I sometimes buy a plane upon its initial release, fully knowing that I would live through some patching and updating with the developers. This will be one of them for me. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
August 25, 201015 yr Go to the 0:40 mark, and look at the engine parameters, I don't know how well this represents the final product, but the engine start sequence is way off (looks like default 737 and also PMDG 737). If I have learned correctly the fuel is fed to the engine at 25% N2, here it is being fed at 20%, the N1, N2 and EGT is rising way too fast for that matter. Can someone else confirm this?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpOuC-Gz8wI#t=0m40s

August 26, 201015 yr that will be soooo mine when it's out.It looks simply beautiful and I just droolwhen I think of all the switches I can click.I don't think the price is to steep either, very reasonable.Especially compared to the other 2 major NG models that both seem to beless well endowed in terms of features.
August 26, 201015 yr PMDG need not lose any sleep over this ONLY because the FSX version is, for now, not released yet. :) JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
August 26, 201015 yr Maybe PMDG got known in time that iFly is developing a B737 for FS9 and has therefore cancelled it's own development of a 737 for FS9. And it also could be that iFly never will make this B737 for FSX, because PMDG already does - who knows? :( Wolfgang
August 26, 201015 yr Everything looks right compared to this. Unfortunately that video is showing the PMDG 737, which isn't realistic. This is the only video that I could find on YouTube that shows a engine start, however on this video the HMU (hydromechanical unit) has been replaced (don't know if that make a substantial difference). But it clearly shows how the engine starts in real life compared to what has been simulated by the default 737 and PMDG 737 in MSFS.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI6HWObTrT4
