Folks, need to make a very important announcement ...We have since learned that for this aircraft to work as we intend it to work, you need to have installed SP2 and Acceleration.Long story short, we thought we had tested for SP2 without Acceleration, but after the complaints we had from all our customers who had SP 2 without Acceleration, we went back and to our horror and embarrassment realized that even this computer was configured with Acceleration!In the immediate term, Colin has re-written the requirements section on the Flight1 point-of-sale site to reflect the truth that you need SP2 and Acceleration for this aircraft.In the long term, since we made what ended up misleading statements, Bill Leaming is working on new model files to allow the aircraft to work properly with SP2 (but not Acceleration) installed. This will obviously take some time, but we do want to make this right.If I may offer a personal recommendation it would be that Acceleration is, in my personal opinion, well worth the price. We already know of multiple cases where customers experiencing their initial problems had them all immediately disappear after installing Acceleration. So, this would certainly be a much more timely option than waiting for the re-worked additional models. When the new models are ready, Colin will add a separate link on the Flight1 sales site where you can get them.Sorry for the frustration this has caused for some of our customers.Cheers,Ken

I believe I've found a cure for the FSX+SP2 only folks that will preserve all of the same external lighting "goodness" as the FSX+Accleration folks, without having to have two separate packages, and fixed the reverse windmilling of the props. IOW, a single package that will work in both "flavors..." Of course, we'll need to get feedback from the rest of the testing team before I can call it done... <fingers-crossed-mode ON> :(

The Service Release 1 update has now been rolled into the full installer package. Simply download the installer package again, and reinstall using your existing key file.All reported issues have been resolved, and the C310R will now display and run correctly for everyone with at least FSX+SP2 installed.
