September 6, 201015 yr Purchase and installation was quick and easy (as always with Flight1-wrapped products). Now waiting for my Milviz forum registration to be approved (which is not required to be able to fly the plane, by the way, only for support access). It is a gorgeous model, inside and out. Sounds are great, too. Highly recommended. September 6, 201015 yr I'm looking into getting this for sure!I'd love to have the SkyKing paint on it, but with the tail number of:N6708T....it's my girlfriend's dad's C310L (D), can't remember which, painted just like the Sky Kings (Songbird). We flew it on a 4300nm adventure to build 30 hrs multi for me! It was awesome!!!Kreg Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
September 6, 201015 yr Commercial Member Jim, props to you. Knowing what else you have going on this weekend (putting the "labor" in "Labor Day"), this is above and beyond the call. You seldom get as much credit as you deserve. You are a class act, Sir.Thanks. I see Steve got the link up and going after I went offline. The Flight1 team is ready to serve at a moments notice. And on a holiday weekend too boot! :biggrin:And thanks to Bill Leaming for the plug. Enjoy your release gents.Jim
September 6, 201015 yr Ok good morning everyone, I turned on my PC today to see if I could fix the problem with my cessna 310R and I couldnt, tried removing the shader 3 nothing same problem i did reinstall again nothing happens so as there is no Uninstaller I decided to remove everything with the word milviz on my FSX did a defrag and then installed again... Nothing happens the props keeps spinning with everything turned off and with the landing lights on I see the NAV and the Strobe lights turned on and they are not even in their site! So this is frustrating guys :( W7 UltimateX64, Intel I2600k @ 4.1ghz, CoolerMaster v6, 8GB Ram , EVGA GTX 560ti
September 6, 201015 yr Giorgio,What installation version of FSX do you have? This aircraft requires SP1 and SP2 plus Acceleration be installed. It looks to me like you have some software anamoly, but that's beyond my knowledge level to confirm. That's why I previously suggested (see previous post) you post this experience over at the MilViz support site.Looking at your screen images, it is clear that the engine is shutdown cold. For the props to keep spinning is very very bizzare and certainly something that we never encountered in our months of alpha and beta testing.Cheers,Ken
September 6, 201015 yr Windows 7 as for my software PC, FSX with SP1 and 2... no ACC pack! W7 UltimateX64, Intel I2600k @ 4.1ghz, CoolerMaster v6, 8GB Ram , EVGA GTX 560ti
September 6, 201015 yr ... This aircraft requires SP1 and SP2 plus Acceleration be installed. ... Just to be sure, you are saying I need the acceleration pack for this GA aircraft?Do not have it, so figure I better find out first.Thx.Joe Joe Lorenc
September 6, 201015 yr Windows 7 as for my software PC, FSX with SP1 and 2... no ACC pack!Ken,I too am having the issues that Giorgio is having. I have the same setup on my laptop:Win 7 64 Bit Ult, FSX with SP2, No ACC pack (I think this could be the issue, the Carenado C208 is also messing with people on this. ACC pack has SP2, but SP2 does NOT have ACC pack!!!).Don't get me wrong! I love the plane so far, minus the issues in this post -->. I made T H I S post about it! I love the sounds, and she looks stunning!!! The manual is great too! I'm jealous you have that plane IRL, as I fly a C208 now and love C310's!Please check that other post I made too! I'm going to try and post a few pics soon, and then it's a 4am bed time here in Hawaii!KregThis aircraft requires SP1 and SP2 plus Acceleration be installed.Cheers,KenWell, hmmmmm. If THAT is the case, I may have to get a refund on this airplane :(''''''''''''''''' It is a great value now, but pack on a MSFSX Gold Edition package and shipping, and now you're looking at $80 plus to fly it :(.That's the issue when developers develop using Acceleration only, it causes this :(.Anyway, I'll post shots still in hopes it may help!Kreg Image Coming... See below:)I will try to register tonight on the forums there to get help and provide info. I'm guessing it's because the plane was developed in Acceleration?Kreg Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
September 6, 201015 yr Just to be sure, you are saying I need the acceleration pack for this GA aircraft?Do not have it, so figure I better find out first.Thx.JoeJoe,According to Bill Leaming (who did the coding) Acceleration is NOT required. SP1 and SP2 are required. The aircraft was designed and tested for FSX with SP1, SP2, and Acceleration all installed. And, per Bill, he tested it with SP1 and SP2, but NOT Acceleration installed.Cheers,Ken
September 6, 201015 yr Moderator Just to be sure, you are saying I need the acceleration pack for this GA aircraft?Do not have it, so figure I better find out first.Thx.JoeAcceleration is not required, as I used nothing in the model or gauge programming that is specific to the Acceleration additions to the sim. While developing the model's code and the gauge code, I tested it through on both a Win7 x64 machine with Acceleration, and a Vista x32 machine with only SP2 installed. However, at least SP2 is required, and at least an FSX Deluxe edition for the default G1000 gauges to be present.
