October 5, 201015 yr I'm really starting to believe that the screenshot when we access the official MS FLIGHT website was taken in game. First of all, the cessna in the background has a paint scheme that looks just like the one in FSX, also, the back landing wheel seems to be lacking a bit of detail if it were a RW photo, and last, the brake line at the bottom right is not very smooth... If it actually is an ingame screenshot, then it looks like pretty awesome graphics for us!
October 5, 201015 yr Commercial Member That us indeed the default Cessna from FSX. But I'm thinking that the Stearman is a rendered model that was photoshoped in.EDIT: Looking at it again, the wheels on the Cessna have similar lighting to that of the Stearman. Either The whole scene was rendered, or this is indeed and in game shot. I for one, hope it is in game.EDITx2: Watching the video, the second the plane flies over, the sky turns to a blur. You can see the sun disappear. I think that the transition between rendered and in game takes place. I know this isn't exactly about the screenshot, but it's about the video. Brandon Filer
October 6, 201015 yr Oh no. It can't be an in game picture. Look at the detail on the radial engine! You can even see the sun reflecting off of the stretched strings that strengthen the wings!!!!! (What are they called anyway?) Notice that smallest parts of the engine create shades onto the engine itself!!! Also are you implying the hanger and the wood patio is also part of an in game footage? Even without the hanger that much detail would give the computers of next 10 years hernia.
October 6, 201015 yr Commercial Member Ok, whatever. I was wrong. :PNow, obviously they would set up a really nice shot with lots of detail for a screenshot like that. It could be in game. Doesn't mean that the release will be THAT detailed. Remember, Flight is most likely using DX11, so they can sure make some big graphical improvements. Brandon Filer

October 30, 201015 yr I read the firt post is said nothing about the MS Flight Video. So yeah, it was a bit confusing. I agree. The first post mentioned nothing about having to watch the video; which I can't do because the site won't let me watch it without installing Silverlight. Mike Mann
October 30, 201015 yr Commercial Member I read the firt post is said nothing about the MS Flight Video. So yeah, it was a bit confusing. At the time when the topic was posted, Webisode 1 was the current video, so when you went to the site, the screenshot was the first thing you saw. I forgot that this is not the case since Webisode 2 was added recently.I agree. The first post mentioned nothing about having to watch the video; which I can't do because the site won't let me watch it without installing Silverlight.Again, when the topic was posted, the screenshot was the first thing you saw; you didn't have to click the other video and let it play. Not being able to watch the video without silverlight is just another attempt by the usual Microsoft to get you to download an add-on just to watch a simple video. Pretty stupid if you ask me. I just want to click play! :D Brandon Filer
