October 7, 201015 yr I bought the A-10A Warthog today, and I can't move it. I have the engines running, but I can't seem to figure out how to get her to move. I can't find a manual in the download, and there's nothing in my programs under IRIS (developer). Have you downloaded this plane? What's the secret?Stan
October 7, 201015 yr Moderator Sorry Stan, I can't help since I don't have it yet, but like you I looked on thier site and didn't see anywhere that you could download one either. However, once you do get this airborne, please report back and let us know how you like it and how the performance is. I haven't had at A-10 since the Lago version for FS9 and wouldn't mind having one for FSX. Plus I see from thier site they have also included the cool looking "Lotus style" landing lights. October 7, 201015 yr Author Hopefully, one of the representatives of the developer will read this forum. I will experiment in the cockpit with various switches when I have time later today.Stan
October 7, 201015 yr Moderator Although I didn't read it, I noticed they have a forum on their site. Have you tried asking there if users are allowed to post on it? Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
October 7, 201015 yr The manual didn´t come with the initial release. IRIS staff has an inbound update (Very near) that has the manual and many new features. I, myself, didn´t gent any trouble in rolling the a10. You released the parking breakes? :(--- Just kidding --- !!! Go see the sim outhouse tread ... the developer is very active there. Even after CTRL E when the engines start, I can't get the plane moving. Should I reinstall it....?Stan
October 7, 201015 yr Author Finally got it moving by just switching on switches. Something on the left console fired it up. I will investigate that to see what exactly is the magic button.Stan
October 8, 201015 yr There is a button on the left console (The last red one to the back) called "quickstart". Click it, look the systems come alive and then open the trust manetes! (Click on them) Just that and you're good to go for a spin ... You can get an early beta copy. But, it won't run in fsx ever. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
