November 7, 201015 yr Love the Aerosoft twin otter, always the first aircraft to be reinstalled, good model, great sound, [...]You are right. I forgot to mention the Sound. I think it´s superb. It just sounds awesome from inside and outside, especially if you try to fly at least a bit realistic and don´t only play with the Throttle, but also with the Prop Lever.
November 7, 201015 yr I might be interested in the Twin Otter, but is there any way to turn down that "radioactive glow" brightness coming from all the windows when viewed in spot view? It seems overdone.John
November 8, 201015 yr If there's at least a twin that I prefer flying with so far, I'd personally pick Carenado's Twin Bonanza or MAAM-SIM's DC-3s. To tell you the truth however, I'd prefer flying warbirds as VFR aircraft, so.....I'd probably choose Alphasim's B-24 Liberator or MAAM-SIM's B-25 Mitchell. I also have the very rare Boeing Model 221 Monoplane by Tim Conrad, of which I usually fly around PHNL. Dave. November 8, 201015 yr There's something wrong with your B-24 if it's a twin. Must be heavy flak damage LOL Joking aside, I agree, the MAAM DC-3 and the Alphasim B-24 are great add-ons. Don't have their B-25, but I do know it by reputation, and if the DC-3 is anything to go by, I'm sure that it is excellent too.Back on topic though, dunno what you mean about a 'radioactive glow' on the Twotter John, mine doesn't look like that.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
November 8, 201015 yr A lot of very good suggestions hereI second the aerosoft Twotter, very nice bird, but can't compete in the VC department. My suggestion would be Virtavia's BN-2 Islander, fantastic model and Flight model, beautiful VC and exterior, but very slow. its available at Flight 1 Regards Audun Sjøen My sim screens
November 8, 201015 yr Commercial Member The Virtavia BN-2 Islander. I have to agree, absolutely brilliant, and a great sound package.
