November 23, 201015 yr Dreamfleet 727 or Just Flight 727 Pro?Been awhile since I've used a 727 - fs2002. And had used the various freeware 727's using the awsome panels by Richard Probst. But was thinking of buying one of the above mentioned products rather then the hassle of trying to get the freeware aircraft/panels/sound etc to all match up for fs9. But then again, are the payware products THAT much better then the freeware ones available anyway?Any help appreciated.Jonno.
November 23, 201015 yr Depends what you want from your simulated 727. The CS one is probably the prettier of the two and has some nice simulation features that make it easy to use in the sim, but the Dreamfleet one has the edge on fidelity and the variety of systems, since it has a radar and the choice of a few avionics variations found on different 727s.Because of that, they're both worth having and both fly pretty convincingly, so in the end it's down to where your priorities lie, if you want more realism, go for the Dreamfleet one, if you want pretty good realism, whistles and bells and VC prettiness, go for the CS. In short, it's nearly a dead heat and a difficult decision to pick one as a clear winner.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
November 23, 201015 yr Sorry, should've made it more clear - something i'm working on. : )I have some different needs to my flight simming(sic) then some. External views aren't as important. I prefer 2d panels over VC. But to me it's the FDE of the a/c I look at the most and realism in the cockpit. So maybe the DF might just be the winner in that regard? It's kinda retro asking which is the best 727 on avsim! But thanks for the help.Jonno. Depends what you want from your simulated 727. November 23, 201015 yr Then it sounds like the DF is your bird of choice. Others might disagree though.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
November 23, 201015 yr Get the DF 727.Paul Golding and team made a classic with that one.The CS for FS9 is older and a portover from FS8.
November 24, 201015 yr Get the DF 727.Paul Golding and team made a classic with that one.The CS for FS9 is older and a portover from FS8.Dream Fleet by a mile. It is probably one of the five best payware aircraft for FS9 ever.
November 25, 201015 yr Well don't ask me, I myself have locked the answer to your questions: Paul Golding's Dreamfleet 727 (though I don't fly FS9) by nautical miles. The CS model is just too old and the new model is an FSX only model. Dave. November 25, 201015 yr Go Dreamfleet 727 or don't go at all. Others out there are just not worth it IMHO. Bobby Arnold
November 25, 201015 yr Holy moly. The next time my wife says I'm spending too much time with FS I believe I will show her this picture. - Aaron
November 25, 201015 yr Commercial Member Dream Fleet by a mile. It is probably one of the five best payware aircraft for FS9 ever.+1, and Chock nailed it on the DF/CS comparisonOne of the luxuries of not being married. There are many others too.+1 on that also :(
