I hope they sort the physics engine out on the circle line because personally, from playing the u-bahn, i feel that it wasn't quite up to sratch. Brilliant graphics however. I still think Open BVE is the best train sim out there, it has a precise physics model and is absolutely free!!
I believe that they are using a completely different engine for the upcoming LU sim. To me, it looks like the Unreal Graphics Engine and if I'm right on that, it should be less problematic than that old C4 one that they were using.

I use Railworks Train Simulator 2. I really like the new version...

Railworks is superb, however they don't model superelevation which is annoyance to me. Otherwise they are they provide the best 3d offering out there!

Thank you for mentioning these subway sims - I'll never be stuck and locked within Heathrow again! Just to let you know, Dobrev, that's Kensington High Street. Dave.
............No - the Underground station is called 'High Street Kensington', believe me I know I've used it often.

Yes I noticed that as well. Eventually I'm sure it'll get perfected, but overall It's definitely a good start to a fairly new engine. Honestly I was more upset about Train Simulator 2 getting axed by Microsoft, Flight was a given.

No, it's most definitely High Street Kensington. You're thinking of the street's actual name I'm assuming.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Street_Kensington_tube_stationhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kensington_High_Street

Yep I agree, if they could get the train physics BVE has, they could really have something. Watching those simulated trains move down the tracks perfectly straight and level all the time is a turn off.Regards.Ernie.

Not a groundbreaking update, but an interesting one nonetheless. TML came out with a new video that shows how San Francisco will look like at night.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXiAZZujNjk

There's no point buying a sim of the Circle Line if you work Monday to Friday, it's nearly always closed at the weekend for engineering works. Unless of course you can simulate the engineering work...... John

I grew up outside of New York, and always loved their subway system. So, I built my own, in HO scale. I put a wireless video camera in the front car, to get that motorman's view that I always loved as a kid.

Ok, I completely forgot that I made this thread, so here are a few updates jumbled into one post."San Francisco"5f6b80ff09.jpg1/15/2011 - 5.1 Surround SoundThe SF sim will feature 5.1 Surround Sound, so if you have a 5.1 speaker system, it'll sound amazing. Each wheel produces its own sound and the engine will sound like it is actually behind the bus. When you are driving an articulated bus, the engine sounds will be different since the engine is located further away from the driver. 1/22/11 - Vehicle OverviewThis is just an overview of the vehicles that will be featured in the SF sim. You can walk inside all of the vehicles.Just a quick note: The vehicles in the sim do not have specific names due to licensing issues (I'm assuming). The names that I have provided are just assumptions based on pictures of the actual MUNI buses.http://entwicklerblo.../8433312971.jpgType: Neoplan AN440Number of seats: 41Dashboard controls: Doors, parking brake, driver window, air conditioning, kneeling, headlights, mirrors, multifunctional display, and wipers. You aren't limited to just your train anymore. The AI passengers also behave more realistically. They "look" for the door while trying to enter the train instead of just teleporting into it as seen in many other sims. Here is a video showing those features in-game. Keep in mind that this is a work in progress and that the train and seating positions of the passengers are not yet finished.
