However, with only a grand total of 32 posts since joining AVSIM, he still fits the definition of newbie. QED.We need to encourage folks to speak out more, not try to humiliate them with pointless antagonism! :(

QED? Is that for the logic or math ? ;)
Then allow me to put this press release through my Universal Marketing-speak Translator , for you...A: From new game play elements and enhanced scenery and terrain to new aircraft and integrated content marketplace, it is an entirely new breed of virtual flight. The Games for Windows - LIVE platform sets the stage for all your virtual flight needs while connecting you to a global base of users, content and endless exploration. Microsoft Flight builds off its heritage of deep, immersive simulation and is redesigned to make the experience easier for virtual fliers of all interests and skills.Translation: You will be able to fly around collecting 'power ups' for your plane, although we're leaving the VOR database in there to stop the hard core simmers from whining. We'll be able to track your every move on the internet whilst you play.A: We believe the simplicity of “Microsoft Flight” perfectly captures that vision while welcoming the millions of existing Flight Simulator fans.Translation: We still can't be arsed programming an FMC for the default planes.A: Games for Windows – LIVE introduces a new level of connectivity to virtual flight, enhancing both the social and game play experiences of the title. Translation: It has a built-in VOIP and chat room so you can be annoyed by young people typing or shouting obscenities whilst you try to play it seriously.A: “Microsoft Flight” is being developed internally at Microsoft by a team that includes many of the same creative minds that helped deliver countless entries in the “Flight Simulator” franchise.Translation: We had to re-hire the guys we fired after we realised that was a bit of a bad idea.A: Microsoft Game Studios is always evaluating its business model to determine what is best for both gamers and the company. Translation: We realised ditching one of the few things people genuinely admired about Microsoft was not a great decision and that Bill Gates probably did sort of know what he was doing when he ran the company and built it up from nothing.Al
Ingenious!!

Dude . . .What does that have to do with anything?I would suggest that the mods lock this stupid thread down -- it's already starting to become a flamer -- it's certainly reached pointless at this stage.

Dude ... your post was pointless .. seriously! If you would have objectively read my post .. ppl were saying the guy was new.  My comments were stating that he was not new to the forums.  So you needed clarity, hope that helps you. And if you were reacting to the word "dude"  it simply is slang for  fellow or chap.Aside: I hope the mods don't lock it ..  just because you eloquently stated that its "STUPID".

You don't get it, you never will, and this is my final post on this matter to you. This thread serves no practical purpose.
