January 5, 201115 yr Here's the pricing upon release at Microcenter.http://www.microcenter.com/storefronts/powerspec/index.html Thank's Alec looks like newegg is gonna sale theres for most likely 390 even 400+! knowing them . allot of reveiws were posting prices but they were per 1000 units or something like that so people were getting confused on thinking that would be the retail price of around $317 for the I7 2600K. January 6, 201115 yr VID range 0.25 - 1.52 ?!?!?!?http://download.intel.com/design/pro...hts/324641.pdf If 1.52 is considered safe, then we are in for some real fun! I think I will be setting a self imposed limit of 1.35v or 1.4v until we know for sure, though... then again I imagine Intel is pretty conservative on that number. So much more excited than I already was.Regardless - I recommend waiting to hear any reports of chip degredation above 1.4v before going beyond that. January 6, 201115 yr Author Absolutely, thanks for the suggestion.May I suggest trying say Kord with Aerosoft Chicago? As soon as I (q6600, 4gb ddr2, 9800gtx) turn towards the city, I get a nice 4-8fps.Or try, KJFK with Aerosoft Manhattan, or KLAS with Aerosoft Las Vegas.Looking forward to your results in about a week or longer, and if you could throw in a "Non" technical opinion on the tech coming out in November (?).It seems (If I understand it correctly), that by then, the products may yet be better in handling fsx.Thanks.P.S. Luckily for me, with all these requests I am pushing here, I will not have to worry about being thrown off your Christmas list for another year. Waleed N

I agree to be cautious, but this looks very promising
