I went from XP to 7 (64-bit) about three years ago and this is what I diid: 1. Backed up my entire FS9 folder in XP 2. Installed FS9 and 9.1 update into the standard directory 3. Installed any addons I had (primarily payware) 4. Once I had all of my programs properly installed, I took my old FS9 folder and copied it over my new installation so I had all of my liveries, etc. I've had this setup since without any issues from the process. I guess you could install in another location, but the standard installation seems to have worked on my end.

Opa was a valuable part of the flight sim community in so many ways, whether it be right here on the avsim forums assisting people, or through all of his work available in the library. The community has lost one very fine man.

I think he means how the PFD is round compared to the more 'speedtape' style it should be. Do you have a widescreen monitor? I think that could possibly be the issue.... -
Microsoft Flight System Specs Speculation...
northwestairlines13 replied to L1011_pilot's topic in Microsoft FLIGHT Archive
Well, HDD space will be more than 2GB since FSX is ~15GB. -
The Pellston one is very nice. I did a flight there and back recently.I also like any of Shez Ansari's airports (KONT, KSNA, etc.) are nice. Also V1's Sacramento is a nice one as well.

But for some reason I couldn't see this computer running FS 'perfectly'.
