For a Tower sim it's missing one important ingredient - a Tower View. It's a 2D, top down representation - strange when marketed as a Tower Sim (I suspect the programming skills were not available to produce a 3D view).DP

Ehhh...scoob, does this simulator require voice recognition utilities? Dave.

does this simulator require voice recognition utilities?
dave:no, all commands can be typed and/or done through a combination of shortcut keystrokes.but ... the voice recognition utility is free, yes free, to anyone that has a legal copy of winXP, VISTA or win7 (32 or 64 bit). the speech recognition software is microsoft's speech API -http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=5E86EC97-40A7-453F-B0EE-6583171B4530after training the speech engine you can control using a microphone. i use a $15 headset and have 99% success with all voice commands. i only use the keyboard for testing purposes.check out the forum -http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=topics&f=25--

Are you saying that there is a 3d view? All the screenshots show a top down view..?Still to this day, no one has topped BAO's "Tower". God I wish I could get that beast of a game to run on Windows 7! :(

No, because it doesn't have a Tower view, as I would have thought for a Tower sim it would have the appropriate view. I've looked at it and looked at it, and it was a game-breaker for me.DP

You seem to have a very bitter approach to life, and a bit of a glass jaw. No one has criticised the game play, for I do not know what that is like - it may be very good, who knows? I have quite validly pointed out that I believe a Tower Sim should have a Tower View, which really is not quite clear from your marketing and someone could unwarily purchase it and find the same disappointment. This is my personal criteria, and the reason why I will not purchase it. To market the product as a Tower Sim and playing "god" from a top-down view is a bit of a stretch for me, but others may be happy with that - good for them and I hope they enjoy it.In fact, there is no loss on my part, as a bit of research and consideration of your product has saved me that exact type of disappointment and the cost of the purchase.Churlishness does not do you any good, and quite frankly has turned me off Feelthere products, and I have purchased a few in my time, including Tower 1.0DP

I thoroughly enjoyed the screenshots. I think it would be highly unfair to dismiss this product so quickly. If I still controlled, I would probably buy it.

Scoob, I'm sorry mate but I think you took what I said completely the wrong way. It was actually a genuine question! From your previous comment it sounded like you were stating that the O.P. was wrong by saying the game had only a top down view. However, as a previous Tower Sim customer of yours, I will be seeking proof that the new game holds of on its promises before committing to buy. Nothing against you but I'm just about to start a full time intergrated ATPL course and I need to reserve as much money as I can :(
