Well, after weeks of debating back and forwards with my wallet about purchasing even more FS add-ons, I finally took the plunge last night and put my hand in my pocket for the iFly 737.All I can say is...WOW.I just can't believe how good this bird is.If anyone is still sitting on the fence, all I can say is just go and buy it. For 2D panel-ists like myself it's just superb, the widescreen view is fantastic.I only managed a short hop around the UK to test it out, but there will be many, many more hours to come before I even begin to scratch the surface I feel!Martin

Yeah, I need to register for the official support forum when I get home as I need my proof of purchase ID from my hard drive!I went all out and purchased two sceneries from SkyHighSim at the same time, Belgrade (Serbia) and Tivat (Montenegro). They're both really good, the mountainous surroundings of Tivat are fantastic!I've just joined Ryanair virtual so the iFly will be getting an extended run out over the next few weeks!Martin

Is there a facility in the set up so that the VC isn't used, ie only 2D panel.Ive an old system and the VC tends to send my frame rates so low FS is unusable.I normally use the Hex Editor to take the VC out of the model. Steve

VC textures,lights, adding Weather Radar and stuff :smile:It's happening to me too, I haven't asked them about this because I think it's part of the model, I've tried replacing the original halo.bmp or spotlight.bmp and still no luck.Anyway,I've passed your post to iFly :(

iFlys 737 is the only reason I'm keepin FS9 on my machines. It really is a wonderful bird.

Well,if you have iFly 737 and look right into the aircraft.cfg and the aircraft folder you can clearly see iFly divides the panel into 2, one is normal screen and one is wide screen.Which is...panel=normal and panel=wideOr if you can find panel=VC anywhere then I admit this is my fault and I really really sorry for that

Oh, my post count is bigger than yours...:rolleyes:Sk1nNy is right. That won't work as there are no separate VC (or non-VC) models or panels. So if one insists on removing the VC, it'll have to be done the dirty way. I wouldn't know how though, I like my VC's.I've had the iFly for about a month now, definitely worth the purchase! Is there any real need for the "I've posted more than you" thing when someone is trying to offer advice?

I've had the iFly for about a month now, definitely worth the purchase! Just finishing up my SP2 install as we speak.:(

I actually didn't realise until this morning that SP2 is out, as what I purchased from Flight1 last night only comes with SP1, R3.So guess what I'm doing tonight :( Martin

It seems to me that this aircrafy was developped for the love of the 737 on the developers part, and i beleive thats what makes this aircraft at the top IMHO, they are always trying to make it more and more realistic as time goes by.

Couldn't agree more, you can tell from their forums that it was made for the love as well as the $.Martin
