Freeware that autotunes e comm?

Featured Replies

hi.I wonder if there's a freeware software which autotunes the comm radio when entering another control? I would find this rather helplful at busy times, and like real commercial flights, the PNF should handle the radios. :( anything out there?/Johan

Hi,The ATC window in FS will give you the option and then a keypress will tune the radio.

Oh sorry, I wasn't clear enough. What I want is a fully automatic system, I don't want to have to hit the keyboard on every freq. change.I believe there is some kind of Co-pilot payware out there, which does numerous tasks, but I'm looking for one which only handles the comm, and preferbly freeware. :(

Don't know about freeware but PFE ProFlight Emulator offers that as payware...It offers a lot of other things including regionalized voices as well but it does offer the option for your virtual PNF to handle all comm's.-Paul

I have some beautiful land for the taking, but the land gets a little wet in the spring. It also has some rivers running through it, but it has some crossings over them.(Maybe what you are looking for doesn't exist in the perfect form you are seeking!)

I believe that if you are running RC4 and have selected the set NAV Frequencies option that it will also autotune the radios.Tom

It's not freeware, so that idea is out the window.

:( Hmmm.. I am truly hoping that it is not a sarcastic tone I am sensing. because in that case it is sad.. To see the great avsim forum following the same path of backstabbing and bad-mouthing which I and others have experienced in other forums...I am simply looking for a freeware, if there is any such thing. No one is to judge me for this. If you only knew the amount of money I have invested in Fs-addons, such comments would not have been uttered. So what If I for once am searching for a FREEWARE product...In case I made my point in a bad way, I'm sorry.@Tom, thank you. I used RC a while back, but have reverted back to the default ATC for various reasons.

Yes, when helpful suggestions are constantly met with roadblocks, then a sarcastic tone creeps in.

brilliant. Please state these "roadblocks".I asked for a freeware program, I get payware suggestions, what's so hard to undstand? I just get very sad when I am met this way in good ol avsim. doesn't suit this place at all.. Bitter comments.I guess you took my first reply as a personal insult or something, which was in no way my intention. What I meant was that maybe my first post was not clear enough in stating that I was looking for a freeware product. In WHAT way have I been acting bad???? unbelievable. :Shocked:can we please stop this childish and stupid argument now?

No need for arguments and sarcasm in this thread. Let's all get along.

I'm not clear what you want? The FS ATC system will auto-tune your radio without any additional keypresses, it will do this when you make the necessary keypress to speak to ATC.RC and PFE do just the same, no more.John
