I think the thrust of the question was about the ATC voices sounding more realistic rather than robotic. I think everyone would hope that the ATC in Flight would be given some sort of overhaul. May 20, 201115 yr It's a flight simulator not a speech synthesis program!!Very odd comment, since ATC is a vital part of the flight sim experience. Improving the ATC would be a very natural target for MS.

The orignal contributer is making the point and expressing a wish, as are most of us here, that the quality of the ATC 'voice' in Flight could do with bit of a spruce up. Jim seems to be implying that Edit Voice Package improves the quality of 'voice', where as far as I am aware it does not. Anyway, enough of me. May 25, 201115 yr All you have to do to replace the default voices is to record some 45,000 .wav files in ten voices and then insert tokens in the correct place. Gerry Howard
