Ah, a question for us old timers.
HA, I hear ya. :( So the PDC basically gives you thrust settings for given or entered conditions?sig.gif

Thanks. I am flying the TM 732 with INS and Sperry 77 and a PDC is not implemented in it, so that is why I was asking.
Thats curious, out of interest do you have VNAV installed?

Not thrust. It calculated things such as top of decent based on weight and optimum cruise level AFAIK, Never having operated the 732Adv I don't actually know, all the Info I've given is purely based on information I've picked up from talking with some of our crews who did operate the 737-200 so feel free to point out any mistakes you spot or add to the info I've given...

No VNAV. Why curious? The Tinmouse is freeware and a real pleasure to fly, even without a PDC. It is more work calculating the climb- and descent rates and having an eye on EPR but this is how they have done it before PDCs were developed.

Sorry my bad, I mistook you for a RW pilot, curious because I thought that PDC was standard on the 732Adv...

Love it! Thanks..

:DHehe, I am also sorry, the TM has of course a PDC, you can enter the current OAT and it gives you an EPR value for every phase of flight.

The PDCS was standard on the later -200Advs. So you're not far off.

Thanks man, well I don't have to add any info that's why I was just asking. Interesting to know, as people seem to forget way to easyly how things were before they downloaded their route via ACARS and got their performance figures out of their fancy EFB or whatever. Big%20Grin.gif I'd certainly love to take a ride on a -200 once, but I guess there won't quite be a chance. :(sig.gif

I'm sure if you had enough money Boeing would build one for you. It'd probably cost way more than the current production models though...When you get ready to order lemme know, ok? I don't mind chipping in a couple hundred bucks on delivery

Really cool post. I have to say that the first thing that caught my eye was this the wear from the pilots resting their feet on the console edge. The team at PMDG were right in how they wanted the cockpit to fee lived in.

I believe what you're seeing is actually the bottom of the rudder pedals, not the console. But yes, you're right. Most "used" 73s have lots of cockpit wear, and I think that they've done a wonderful job capturing this.

I believe he's talking about the worn area under the card. To the right and below the flood light rotary. Not the rudder pedals.
