I believe it's Airtran. Check the bottom right of the picture, you can see the signature a of Airtran. (FO side)
That is is. Notice the manuals in the compartments with the signature AirTran "a" on them. When looking at a 717 picture shout "AirTran!" and you stand a good chance of being correct. :( (They operate eighty-some!)

I'd love to see this, but with each project taking 2+ years, I'd rather have them focus on aircraft that are more in demand such as the 777.

What an extremely pretty cockpit, I say bring on the MD95s!

I'd just hate to have to use that standby attitude. Ouch!
The magnetic compass is worse. It's behind, yes, BEHIND the FO's right shoulder. They have mirrors on the glareshield that fold up and are adjustable to view it. I've heard it's a nightmare in turbulence.

Wow! I did not know that! Yikes

They'll probably do it after the 777 debuts. or after the 747 redo.

Nice. I didn't know they had a cockpit similar to the MD-11. It's a nice aircraft for FSX indeed. I think I'll make the 3d model and look for someone to make the gauges for me. :(

Yes, as it is in the md80 as well.

Yuck...And besides, I finished a successful flight with the AirSimmer A320 last night. Such potential in that thing. I still enjoy it!

The 717 seems to be one of the more commonly requested aircraft. It seems threads requesting it pop up every few months. This aircraft is one of if not my favorite, and seeing that there is a very slim chance of me ever flying one in reality I would love to see one from PMDG. I will be the first to buy it, because sadly there are non out there

There are a few on the freeware and payware market, but not at PMDG quality. As with you, the B717 is my favourite aircraft - and is a disapointment to hear it will not be developed...
