Suggestion for cockpit ambiance...

Featured Replies

Well I havent got enough computer knowledge to modify it and put my name on it. But if you check IFLY site http://ifly.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=56&title=ifly-banner-signature on this address, they just let people use basic Ifly banner without a name on it. Maybe when you got time, you could do something like this, because your banner is the best man !!!

Hi,You can try this banner:http://fs2crew.com/cart/images/signatures/fs2crew_linepilot.pngBest,

Bryan, I'd like to mention that I am a complete newbie to both the iFLY and FS2Crew, so my opinion is completely objective. First let me thank you for a great product and secondly perhaps I too could make a suggestion, which I believe would be a massive aid to increasing the 'immersion' factor. I believe the success of the product is not merely the correct procedures that have to be followed but the ambience created. It's the ambience that really makes flying the iFLY really shine. To enhance the realism while flying I have downloaded some archive recordings from ATC Live and edited all the quiet spaces out and produced a two hour track of background ATC chatter. While flying I always have the ATC chatter playing quietly in the background. I have found this really adds to the atmosphere. I have also thought about the sound of passengers boarding the aircraft during pre flight checklists etc. Now I know some people may not like this, but I think it would be a great addition to the current series of FS2Crew, especially if you could simply have the option of switching the background chatter off. On long flights, following after take off checks and reaching TOC the cabin is pretty quiet, and there are only so many times you can ask the FA for a coffee or a sandwich! :(

I never liked the generic loadsheets. I think it is just right the way it is. The pax noise would be a good addition, though.
