July 9, 201114 yr First off I own a few FS2Crew modules which brings me to a couple of observations between them. The module that has the most pre-flight preparation interaction seems to be the Airbus package. You have ground crew coming up to the cockpit giving load sheets etc. There's a flight attendant briefing before pushback. I was wondering if some of this can be added to the iFly package. At least hearing shuffling in the cabin and cockpit would add something to pre-flight. As of now it seems the pilot and co-pilot are the only ones in the plane on pre-flight not a full load of passengers that one would hear shuffling around as the plane is getting ready for pushback. Also if not that there's no interaction with ground crew outside of pushback like what we have with other mods like the Airbus and MD11 packages (for example). :( FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

I did that before in other 737s... maybe I'll bring it back.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

Other than that, Love it.Brad
July 12, 201114 yr Author Pax sounds shuffling around... I did that before in other 737s... maybe I'll bring it back.Cheers,Thanks for the concideration Bryan. Little things like this and the ground crew interaction add to the whole experiance. Even if the load sheets seem too generic many would rather have the extra interaction than not. :( FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
July 12, 201114 yr If you do decide to bring back these options please make it just that! an option. Personally I don't like the interaction with load sheets and what not, the dialog becomes really stale after awhile, all I want is my FO to do his thing and keep his trap shut unless we are doing a checklist or confirming something

Check lists on top of check lists does get tedious but their a fact of life to make sure everything is right, checked, and safe. If we're going to simulate what the real crews do before pushback this is something that unfortunately has to be done (actually fortunately hence you could find yourself running out of fuel well into your flight). Yes you can't really do a walk around or maybe the load sheet is a bit cumbersome to look at on every flight but it nevertheless adds a reality that's often forgotten about or not known in the sim world (actually I like the feature which I was first exposed to with Leonardo's Maddog). The Maddog had the feature built into the aircraft in which you had to load the proper fuel in the load sheet before launching FS9. In the real world before I go up for a flight I have to into account fuel and call the fuel truck if I need to top off the tanks. I'm used to the process but hate the rising cost. I love what Bryan did with the Airbus because no matter how you look at it that's how it's done. Yes the sheet in FS2crew might be static but having the fuel guy come and check with you is an extra added bonus to what it's all about in the real world. :( Now as far as the co-pilot keeping his mouth shut until you need something that might be a personal problem. :Tounge:If you ask me the co-pilot doesn't say enough. Again I like the small talk simulated in the 744 module that's not present in the iFly module.I guess for me the perfect FS2crew add-on is to combine all these cool features of the various packages and release one outstanding effort. Bryan gave up on some innovations that were truly revolutionary and added so much to the experience. :( FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
July 13, 201114 yr Well, I have a BIG complaint with the FA. Three times now I've asked for coffee and nobody brings me anything. The next time they don't well see how they like a 90 degree bank turn. That will fix them!!!!

July 14, 201114 yr Commercial Member Speaking of ambiance, what the heck are those thumps that sounds like someone is knocking on the flight deck door? I notice them during pushback quite a bit. I'm sure they mean something, but every time I hear 'em, I get the urge to yell "occupied!" :( Bill Womack ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Visit my FS Blog or follow me on Twitter (username: bwomack). It's usually audible during turns and when starting/stopping.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
