Hi Ron, Here is one way you could do it. Have your friend open an account over at flightsimstore.com. Then buy some storebucks send him the amount needed to his registered email and he can use the storebucks to buy the aircraft. I belive the flightsim store has all the latest Caranado planes except the new one, the c210. I'm sure thery will be getting that soon. Hope it works out for you.flya150

"Hey friend, go to Flightsim store and open an account so I can buy you a surprise pressie" Frankly, this is something that Carenado ought to organise. Someone bought the Realair Turbine Duke and I simply got an email with a link to a download. That aircraft is registered to me so it can't be difficult. Can it?

Don't you get a download link sent via email? Why not buy it yourself then give him the link and serial information.

I've got to be ultra thick on this one. :rolleyes:1: I buy, when it comes out, a C337 and send him the link and serial #. What's to stop me using that link and serial for myself as well? 2: What if he needs to re-download it, or obtain patches for it? (there WILL be patches! :( ) He must be able to log in to my account, yes? If it's any consolation, Ron, I've enquired about this very situation at several devs (here too, some months ago). Alas, nobody seems geared toward the notion, and my queries are always met with silence. Nuffink! Like you, I figure surely somebody can figure-out a nice, neat, orderly way of buying a gift aerodyne for a chum. So I've watched this thread with hopes that maybe somebody'd work something out. Sigh!

Hi guys, We do virtual gift certificates on our store and you would be able to buy a gift certificate for your friend using your store account and then have it emailed to his address. Then your friend can log in to our store, add the 337 to his cart (when we get access to it from Carenado) and use his/her gift certificate number as payment, and that would do the trick :)http://www.pcaviator...re/giftcert.php Hope that helps! Ron, you raise an interesting point. Gifting flightsim aircraft should be an option - as one can do with iTunes.
