July 11, 201114 yr I have a quick query about some of the options available. We all know the NGX will be the first NG to model the Navigation Performance Scales (NPS) and Integrated Approach Navigation (IAN) features. Are these features that can be turned on and off as airline options or are they defaulted to 'on'? I seem recall that Ryan said they were indeed configurable but I might have got that wrong. The same question for GLS approaches - I guess that GLS (and IAN to an extent) is kinda FMS hardcoded and not an airline option so to speak. The eagle eyed will spot that in the 'Fly on the Fly' video we were shown all 11 pages of the Airline Equipment options and these options didn't show here... Same question for the auto V1 callout - can this be selected and when not selected do we get a F/O callout instead?Any info from wide beta testers would be great...Adam Turley

July 12, 201114 yr Whoa 9 pages of PFD configurable options! Is there an external tool that can be used to quickly configure new installs ala: that other recent 737 simulation? You know...quickly config a new repaint with all the stuff outside of FS? Patrick Houghton
July 12, 201114 yr Any one know if it is possible to have a full glare shield without the glare wings? Dmitriy Kotov If it is not IFR conditions it is not fun.
July 12, 201114 yr Commercial Member Adam-The NGX will be the first PMDG addon to have a dedicated livery manager. In keeping with our efforts to make things easy to use and easy to change to suit your tastes without forcing you into reloading the sim 200 times...I haven't used the latest version, but the Livery Manager will allow you to install a single liver with (i think) 6 clicks... including the double click to launch the app.It will allow you to add 200 liveries with... (counting on fingers) eight clicks...On the airline customization side- we have some fun stuff for you there. I don't want to play all of our cards just yet- but suffice to say we think you will love the simplicity and easy of use! Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com

Will you guys update the liveries for other planes(i.e. 747, md11) to use this program or is this a NGX and future planes only thing?
