You have my deepest sympathy and prayer for comfort and strength for all.You can not load default FS Flight Planner flight plans from within the FMS. You have to load them via the default FS Flight Planner interface. You can not load the new FSX 'xml-type' flight plans with the FMS at all as it doesn't support that format. If you have a flight plan with duplicate waypoints (identical idents) then it's probably not going to load correctly in the FMS. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still no success. You also have my condolences regarding your brother. You have my deepest sympathy and prayer for comfort and strength for all.Again our sincere thanks to all for your condolances. Here's a little excerpt from our forum CX2.0 Knowledgebase to go along with what has already been offered....We're seeing posts about flight plans doing this, not doing that etc. and based on responses and such we're seeing a small 'void' in information that may be necessary for people to be able to use the FMS on this aircraft correctly. So, here goes:1 - A flight plan must consist of a minimum of three waypoints: DEPARTURE Airport, ENROUTE Waypoint, DESTINATION Airport. As example, flying from KLAS to KLAX the minimum flight plan should be something like KLAS HEC KLAX.2 - The Citation X has altitude restrictions based on weight. Based on climb speed selected your weight can not be above 32480-32884 before climbing past FL430. The higher the climb speed, the higher the weight restriction. If your cruise altitude is going to be above FL430, enabling step climb and setting cruise altitude to optimum is probably your best bet.3 - There is a real-world limit to how high you can fly enroute. It's based on many factors, however distance is the primary factor. On the reference page of the pilot's kneeboard in FS we've provided a table (bottom of the page) that gives you information on maximum altitudes based on flight plan length. The first item in the list above is an addon limitation. The other two items are based on actual real-world aircraft performance, thus just like in the real one's manual... stepping outside those boundaries will result in 'unpredicted' behavior. Yes, it really says that.

You can not load the new FSX 'xml-type' flight plans with the FMS at all as it doesn't support that format. After reading this, I am still at a loss. Perhaps, I am not explaining my problem clearly enough. When I start FSX with this A/C, I then go to FS Menu/Flight Planner and create or load (previous created) flight plan. After powering up the Citation and and working with the FMS, I cannot see any created flight plans to select from. I have watched the video on the FMS on this A/C on "Youtube" and I see flight plans listed in the FMS to choose from. I cannot see them on my system. Wilbert

I have watched the video on the FMS on this A/C on "Youtube" and I see flight plans listed in the FMS to choose from. I cannot see them on my system. You will only see flight plans in the FMS that were first CREATED then SAVED by the FMS. Since you see no plans at all, it also tells me that you haven't copy/pasted the supplied "sample flightplan" as instructed by the manual.Flightplans created via FS's own flight planner can't be "seen" by the FMS, but must be imported using the procedure outlined in the manual. It will 'sync' with a flight plan that is loaded via the default FS Flight Planner. The documentation explains how. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
