April 20, 201214 yr Sorry, I've been under the weather, then as I recovered I smashed three fingers on my mouse-wielding hand. So I've been out of service. Nice to know that when you drop off the radar, other members listen for your ELT! Hey buddy! Glad to hear you're alright! Yes...we missed you! I came close to PM'ing you to see if you were okay, but I saw you on another thread recently so I knew you weren't too out of touch...lol. I hope you heal up okay. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)

April 21, 201214 yr New Logojet for TUIfly called 'ÜBÄRflieger' (achiever) celebrating the 100th anniversary of german company 'Baerenmarke' That sure is colorful! I just finished uploading the Continental -600 "Black Meatball" version to the AVSIM library. Here are a few screenshots. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)
April 21, 201214 yr Please make it... I am very Thanks ... Please Please Please... Thank's... 737Player, That livery where you don't like the size of the engine text is the official Austrian/Star Alliance livery from the PMDG livery download page. I don't think the size difference is that bad, but that's just my opinion. See the comparison below. I would not make a tail/engine section (dds file) just to upload to the AVSIM library. The only way to fix what you want is to make the whole paint. I have a list I'm working on. I can't promise anything on this. The one Star Alliance bird I did was not a match for some others because the tail logo on mine was not exactly the same size as others. It matched the single picture I used for a reference. If I get caught up or where I want to work on it, I might edit my Copa Airlines Star Alliance bird to an Austrian Star Alliance. Just letting you know so you don't expect it from me by a particular time. One of the other painters might do it quicker or take on the request. Excuse the "typo" in the picture...lol. Steve, The Red and the Black Meatball look great. SInce I am having some challenges with FSX at the moment, I have not had the chance to load them, however, I do have a question regarding the colors. I can not tell from the images posted, but, did you use only one shade of red on the aircraft, or did you get the true red, and the orange red that was on the real Continental aircraft of the time period? Either way, it looks great! Either way, it looks great! I used one shade of red. I looked at various pictures on airliners.net at those paint schemes and it seemed like some might have been 2 shades of red while others appeard to be one shade. Due to what seemed like several variations, I just settled on the one shade of red. It seems like depending on the aircraft variant and the timeframe that red stripe was not 100% consistant. I hope that doesn't disappoint too many folks...lol. It would be very easy to make 2 shades of red instead on the single stripe. I guess I'll wait and see if I get a lot of negative input or not. I started on the bird below tonight. The tail red has a ways to go in adjustments. The red side stripes are good to go. The wings aren't swapped out yet...lol. I have no skill at all when it comes to paintshop :Monkey: Craig, I could probably do that one sometime in the coming week. Since chrome cannot be duplicated very well, it will have the light gray bottom I usually paint instead. Would you want the engines to match the bottom color or be white? Being a 60s era livery, the engines would probably look better in the same bottom light gray color. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)
April 21, 201214 yr Thanks Again Steve !!!!! Gotta love all the Variants your Doing. It's Getting kinda Hard to Decide which one to Fly (NOT)

Hi Steve, Thanks for the promt reply. I would leave the color up to you for the engines, what ever you think looks the best for the paint sceme. I look forward to seeing this one in the coming weeks :Straight Face: Craig Spence
April 21, 201214 yr Almost there... I'll probably have this uploaded today. I also want to do a -700 of this one. Grew up in a TWA family. This was my favorite TWA paint scheme. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)
