That Continental looks great! Any chance for a Southwest 600? Perhaps as tribute to the 200 and 500?

Thanks guys!

Jack

Would the classic livery suit you? I can do one fairly quick.

include winglets please...

Why on earth when all the old Britannia 737s I remember flying on to the Med did not have winglets? I assume realism does not come into it?

[southwest livery that appeared in less than a few hours]

Seriously??? Can you print money, too?

hahaha It was an old -700 repaint I never uploaded. It's straight lines along the fuse made it easy to copy over to the -600 paint kit. I still need to make a set of bump maps to bring it up to standard with the 700/800 sets.

On the subject of exterior textures, v2 of the bump maps are finished, but I'm having issues with the speculars on the -800 model. The fuse_2 section looks brighter than _1 & _3 and I'm starting to think its the model and not my files. So the exterior packs will be delayed for a bit.

I figured as much, but that was still quick.

Yeah, I'm due to receive a "get a life" speech from William Shatner pretty soon.

Chris,

I'm have a NAC -600 livery request I'm working on at the moment. Since you mentioned tinkering with the bump maps I thought I would let you know I took a few days off from specific livery work to concentrate on attacking the silver/chrome bottom look. I haven't started messing with the bump maps yet, but I am making headway on the regular texture dds files. I'm doing some creative work using the psd files.

Since I'm not a fan of the worn/dirty look and paint a lot of my birds to look factory fresh, this would work out great if I can get it conquered. It is looking promising so far.

White seems to be the most challenging color to deal with at times because it seems to reflect and washout markings, etc on bright sunny days. All of this could just be limited by the way FSX was built.

Ok, I see now, from an aesthetic point of view. Like you been waiting for a Britannia too. Hope somebody does both, W/L and non-W/L. Fingers crossed, eh?

Uppingham? Anywhere near my old RAF base at North Luffenham?

This must take the record for the fastest repaint request to hit the virtual skies. Well Done. Hats off to you.

Rick Almeida
