April 17, 201214 yr Incredible talent Steve Stubbs. Any chance of Jet Airways or Indigo, pretty please? Rick Almeida

April 17, 201214 yr Thanks Mike. I'd been asked to do a 800 version of that repaint for those without the 6/700 expansion. Yes there are couple in the paint hanger at the moment, it does seem they are all complex/ tedious ones at the moment, meaning progress is slow. For instance, lots to do here yet... Great work John! Really looking forward to that one, keep it up! :) Thank you so much, Mike
April 17, 201214 yr the tail on the -600 seems a little large in relationship to the fuselage. Looking at pictures of older 737s, the tail does not seem as big. Thats because it is... NG tail was made bigger, and quite so, compared to CL tail. Quite noticeable between 500&600. Lindsay Lohan edition. Jeesus. That woman... yuck. --Peter Fabian
April 17, 201214 yr Here's a Jet Airways 900, planning an 800 but don't know when I may get to it. http://library.avsim...ftp&DLID=167174 Thank you John. Been waiting a long time for this one, I more or less gave up looking. If I waited this long for even one repaint, I'm sure I can wait for the 800. Rick Almeida
April 18, 201214 yr Would any of our great paints here like to make the 737-800WL in some of the older color that Continental had over the years? April 18, 201214 yr It is a -800. I might be able to do it sometime this week. It's not a hard design. Just mostly black text and accents on a solid white aircraft. Don't hold me too it. I might throw it together after I upload the Pan Am -700. The picture below is not off airliners.net and is not copyrighted. I can only find one good picture of this variant, but the same theme is used for all the Star Alliance birds that have similar themes. Teo, I just finished uploading your Star Alliance (Copa Airlines) request in a -800 with winglets to the AVSIM library. I realized after I had it all ready to upload that I left the "1" in the registration out from the single original picture that exists for that bird. So I called it a fictional re-paint since I can't confirm the registration, but you have your livery. I hope you like it. Here are a few screenshots. Jonathan, I'm doing the "black meatball" livery above in a -600. That's my next project to upload. While I just uploaded a -800, I prefer to do -600 and -700 liveries. Maybe after I finish the -600, I might consider porting it over to a -800 (non-winglets). Personally I don't think the older liveries look as good on a winglet bird. That takes away some of the nostalgia look, but that's just my personal preference. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)

Those colors remind me of a great time for Continental.... Pub Flights. All thou, If I remember right, the Pub Flights were mostly on the DC-10s. As for the winglets. I am ok with that! I am thankful for you taking the time to do this aircraft! Would it be difficult to do the red meatball also? thank you! It's not that much work. Both styles do look good. I've already got the fuselage stripes applied. That gold and red does look good. This will be a nice looking paint. I remember my days in Denver for Air Force training back in the middle 70s. I used to go out to the old airport and watch 727s with the black meatball livery land. Brings back memories. I would check the readme file or the AVSIM library section to see who the author is and contact that person to ask if the engine text can be updated. Just my thoughts. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)

April 18, 201214 yr With the upcoming release of ImagineSim's VIDP, I'd love to see the winglet versions of the -700 and -800 in Jet Airways colors. Also, can someone redo the font for the Copa Airlines and Copa Airlines Colombia that are already on the PMDG liveries section. Copa recently redid their "Copa Airlines" font, and it's starting to be applied to their fleet. I won't post any copyrighted pictures, but a search of "Copa new font" will show what I mean. Thanks for all the great liveries!
