July 28, 201114 yr Commercial Member Ok I know it's premature and the NGX still hasn't left the hanger yet...I'm not the kinda guy to ask a million questions about upcoming products but I wanted to know if the freighters would be released with the pax version or will it be like the 744 release and the freighters come later?I have the sops and FCOM for the 777F so I am hoping I will get my hands on that variant on release.Cheers Rob Prest
July 28, 201114 yr Kinda early since we just found out what we get with our NGX, when the 777 gets to this point (ish) we will know -Ryan Vince Quote from 911 magazine: "- ...RSR delivers unparallelled performance and stunning looks"
July 28, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member Ok that's cool, I don't hang out here as much as I used to. I thought It may have been mentioned in the past. I can wait so no big deal. Thanks Rob Prest
July 29, 201114 yr I know it has not been decided yet, but I could see PMDG taking a similar approach with the 777 as they have done with the NGX. Might see something like the 777-200/-300 as the base models, and one or more expansion packs with the -LR/-ER models, and the -F (freighter) variant. Then those who don't want the -F won't have to buy it if they choose not to.
July 29, 201114 yr I was on the floor laughing when I saw this. You can never satisfy people, they gripe about one thing, and when you fulfill that request, they jump to the next thing just like that!! Seriously dude, don't go there.... Dave Dominic

I realize that such questions seem out of place (and for the most part they are), but it's important to leave the thread alone. There's no need to say ANYTHING negative. Just view and and leave it. :) Ruben Schuckit i5 2500k 4.5GHz GTX 560 Ti 8GB memory
July 29, 201114 yr well I'll be buying the 777 for the Freighter variant as thats what I tend to fly most of the time for my VA. As I don't have the MD11 in FEDEX colours, i tend to fly the PMDG 747F in FEDEX colours (does the job, but not the same). I'll certainly be looking forward to the 777F which is quite popular with FEDEX and does the REEEEEEAAAAAALLLLLLLLYYYYYYY long haul freight routes! :) J Thomas YBBN

Try a few months down the road when the ngx is out and they might be thinking about the next project... After their long deserved rest. Dave Dominic

And how do you know what PMDG are thinking ? If they don't answer, means there is no answer, and as Rob said, it does not matter.

If you don't recall, a post Ryan said "I swear I'm going to quit if people start up with the 777 updates after this thing is released" is a pretty good indicator that they really don't want to hear "Is this going to be included on the 777?" "How are we coming along on the 777?" and so on. And lastly, how is my first post "directed" at him? I simply stated people cannot be satisfied, and "Seriously dude, don't go there" is not an insult, it's simply a good pointer saying, it's too soon. Dave Dominic

You obviously didn't read his rebuttal post before digging into this guy. He said that he hasn't visited this forum in a while and apologized for being out of date. Judging from the fact that you have 12 posts in this forum - you haven't been around for nearly as long as he has. We don't need more forum police, and we certainly don't need more people being rude. Next time, give someone the benefit of the doubt and respond cordially - like others have done. Blake Williams
