FMC/CDU

Featured Replies

I've read a couple of times how close the FMC/CDU mimics the real one, but what all would you say other than weather info does it not have compared to the real life NG? How close would you say this is to whats on board? Mike Davey 777

RTA is coming for SP1 (almost never used on real NGs)... Only other things are the RNP RF legs we'll be adding when we change the navdata in one of the SPs. ACARS comm type stuff also not present but that could change in the future.

Can I ask why it is not in the initial release? The MD-11 had it from the start, as did the 747 (for FS9), which is why I ask... Best regards,Robin.

Maybe it was one of very few little compromises to get it finally released? I can live without it wink.png Regards,

Well that rules out transatlantic crossings, ah well, they're something I can live without more of...... Whistle.gif

They are very minor particulars, anyway they will be added with SP1. I am only slightly worried about fps but I hope it will be around only 5-8 fps more than MD 11 that I do not own but I was told it was quite fps friendly.
