Why does the pilot, just landed, look 2-3 times at his right side ? What is he checking ?

Really enjoyed that. Anyone know altitude and speeds for pattern work in a commercial airliner? I'd love to practice this in FSX.

Pattern Alt is usually 1000FT AGL above the field. The guy in the video was using 1500MSL so I am guessing the field was around 500MSL.

It varies from airfield to airfield and the surroundings.... for example SIDs, other busy airports etc.

Negative its supposed to be at 1500FT AGL, 1000FT AGL is for small aircrafts...Sorry if I'm wrong but in Brasil (BraZil for other countrys) it's 1500FT AGL Luiz Cunha

Well I fly small aircrafts so there! LOL.

Speaking purely for the airport I work at, the altitudes are 500 AGL for helos, 1000 AGL for fixed wing and 1500 AGL for jets (fighters, Tutors, etc...)

Is there more documentation somewhere about Touch and Go procedures for jets, or is this part of the NGX manuals?

Gerrit

Great video. Thank you for posting it. It reminds me of the JustPlanes Oasis 747 Training video.
