Delivery Day Flights: SeaTac Scenery Released

Featured Replies

Funny how the timing worked out. After months of work, I can say that Larry Robbins and I are finally ready to release our merge for bringing FlyTampa's Seattle for FS9 into Orbx's PNW. If you happen to have both products, please check out the link below for download and instructions. Please keep in mind it does require you to have Orbx PNW and FlyTampa-Seattle. I hope you can find use for this scenery with your new NGX's. http://www.myflightsimblog.com/MyFlightSimBlog/KSEA.html Seattle3.jpgSeattle5.jpgSeattle1.jpgSeatlle9.jpg Anthony Cacciatore

Great! Tacoma was a no fly zone for quite a while. Will fit nicely on my West Coast add ons.

Anthony, Thanks very much for you effort, however I can't seem to download the file. Get a message that it might have been moved or deleted. Tom

I heard two rumors about Flytampa doing an ORBX compatible SEA version for FSX(dunno about fs9, but why not?)

I cant believe Fly Tampa has went this long and not updated KSEA.

They've stated in the past, that they have no intention of updating Seattle, to work with FSX.

Could've been a problem at that moment with the servers being hit. I just tried and they are working. Hope that helps. Anthony

Was Re-Uploading the Installer files to the website on Aug 4. All should be well now. Let us know if you experience any other download issues. Larry

The latest information from both FlyTampa and Orbx was that the plan to update KSEA for FSX has been dropped. The guys at FlyTampa say the Seattle area is plagued with too many issues that cause big time Framerate hits in FSX, which is true. You will no doubt have framerate drops with this patch as well. There are some detailed instructions included in the ReadMe file that address this issue which might help. As for Orbx, they have dropped the plans for both KSEA and KPDX because of the size of the airports. There focus, according to a statement on the webisite, is to concentrate on smaller GA airfields. And they do a fantastic job with GAs, I might say. Thus, our decision to create the patch file for FlySeattle. So unless the new Microsoft Flight or X-Plane 10 has some great surprises for us, this is the best we can do for now. Although there is a KPDX FlightZone 02 patch download on our site available for download, it still needs some work. Hope to work on a KPDX update this winter. [email protected]
