You can use the shortcut "SHIFT+3" for switching to FMC. Patric

Clickspots are there.Three right over the standby instruments and two on the frame between windows Jarle Brønstad

hover over the FMC's display then left click when the icon changes to the magnifying glass EDIT: sorry, that's in the VC

Also I can't get the direct text input to work. I get the green text box but nothing I type shows up.

I must say that PMDG reached an amazing milestone in the MD-11 with regards to interacting with the aircraft using 2D panels... it felt very natural ... to the point that using any other aircraft with 2d panel felt painful. Sadly the NGX feels like a step backwards in this aspect. I will need to log more hours with it before reaching a final conclusion tho. Enrique Vaamonde

read the introduction manual there's a wealth of information in it

I seem to be having issues with this as well.. On page 40 in the intro manual, it points out all 8 locations of the click spots, but the only ones that seem to be working are the ones above on the window frame, 3 and 4 .All of the other ones located below on the panel are not appearing.

Ok, I found the clickspots. There are 3 clicksopts located above the standby instruments, to the right of the yaw damper indicator Left click on the far right one and it brings up the cdu. Look closely, all the clickspots are lightly outlined in light grey. This is in the manual, I misunderstood 6,7 and 8 to be clickspots, but it was just indicating that these displays will zoom.
