I think he may have been thinking of this one:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/324786-nvidia-configuration-guide-inspector-2xxxx-drivers-version-20-explanations-of-all-settings/ Could be wrong though!

Hi, I found increasing my AA settings fixed this. If I set my AA to "Edge Detect", 8x (24x samples) and Super Sample AA (in the AMD Vision Engine) it eliminates them totally. I get a perf hit (35 FPS from 58 FPS when using 8x MSAA), but it is worth it for the superior image quality. My graphics card is a 1 Gb Sapphire 6790 running FSX at 1600x1200. Best regards,Robin.

Would you mind posting more of your graphic settings? I am most interested in more decent choices. Ryans nVidia Insp post is too heavy for me. Ray
Thats only things I actually changed, other nvidia inspector settings are same as Ryans. In FSX, I set aprox. full FS9 settings, 1680x1050 res, dx9, no bloom and sun effects, full 3d clouds, all traffic at 0%. Lj. Prodanovic

Has anyone else experienced the problem with the 3 displays shimmering\having lines running diaganolly through them. I am not sure if this is by design to simulate crt screens but it is slightly off putting.
Yes,I experience this with my nVidia 8800GTS set to 4xS AA. Switching to 8xQS AA eliminates the shimmer. Hope it helps,

I replaced my 8800GT with the GTX460 but I haven't found the sweet spot just yet. I think I am going backwards. Jaggedwinglines.jpg Ray

I solved with AA 6x or 8x, but get performance issue, from 22-25 fps on the ground during take off to 15-19 fps. So returned to 4x with lines on cdu. @ Ryan many thanks, but I was talking about topic linked by antic81 :-)
