I like Flight1's built-in EADI, but I retrofitted the ISG's EFS50 EHSI (for a good overview) and its controller, as well as the CaptainSim wx radar (just for fun) in my PC-12's VC. I have the ISG Smiths FMC and MCU as popup gauges since there's no other room in the VC (that I've found). (IIRC there's a forum rule against followup posts containing screenshots, or else I'd post one.)

I'll post my changed VC panels since I'm not sure posting an entire panel.cfg is proper or not. Three notes: 1. I've commented out the stock PC-12 gauges so it should be easy to spot the changes.2. The CS radar display is likely not perfectly fitted to the CS bezel, so feel free to experiment on the positioning / sizing.3. In [Vcockpit01], gauge 18 is my FS Captain FDR... so unless you use FS Captain, you should remove this line. //--------------------------------------------------------[Vcockpit01]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=2048,2048visible=0pixel_size=2048,2048texture=$PC-12_VC_MP1gauge00=pc12dll!EADI, 920,690,632,588,vc//gauge01=pc12dll!EHSI, 920,1291,632,588,vcGauge01=ISG1!EFS50_EHSI_NB, 955,1336,562,483,VCgauge02=F1PC12!Airspeed, 483,909,384,384gauge03=F1PC12!Altimeter, 1590,884,392,390gauge04=F1PC12!RMI, 484,1430,384,384gauge05=F1PC12!VSI, 1588,1410,392,395gauge06=F1PC12!VOR 1, 69,1431,392,390gauge07=F1PC12!Standby Attitude Indicator, 167,1106,284,284gauge08=F1PC12!Marker Beacons, 1593,471,392,83gauge09=F1PC12!Altitude Alerter, 1596,578,396,188gauge10=F1PC12!Panel Annunciator, 1610,1291,354,89gauge11=F1PC12!Master Caution, 1042,581,148,76gauge12=F1PC12!Master Warning, 1282,581,148,76gauge13=F1PC12!Flap Gauge, 684,697,196,196gauge14=f1pc12cab!nav_gpswitch, 1700, 1290 ,86,89gauge15=f1pc12cab!idnumber, 1167,535,120,30gauge16=f1pc12_430!f1_mrk_bcn, 1593,471,392,83Gauge17=ISG1_TCAS!Logic, 1,1,1,1,PC12gauge18=FCOM!FDR,1,1,1,1 //--------------------------------------------------------[Vcockpit02]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=2048,2048visible=0pixel_size=2048,2048texture=$PC-12_VC_CPgauge00=F1PC12!EIS, 189,802,775,1057gauge01=F1PC12!KMC321 AP Mode Controller, 220,246,715,250gauge02=F1PC12!KR87 Europe ADF, 1084,1183,777,166gauge03=F1PC12!MFD, 1088,1351,776gauge04=f1pc12_430!GMA340, 1034,300,780,158gauge05=f1pc12_430!gns430_1, 1083,544,777,323//gauge06=f1pc12_430!gns430_2, 1083,868,777,311gauge06=WXR!wr_display, 1223,904,537,221gauge07=f1pc12_430!Garmin GTX327, 188,583,773,204gauge08=f1pc12_430!mx20, 1090,1351,770,496gauge09=f1pc12_430!mx20_toggle, 1158,1410,569,335gauge10=f1pc12_430!gps1_large, 1272,580,413,214gauge11=f1pc12_430!gps2_large, 1272,907,410,208gauge12=Captain_Sim.r001.P04!P04_radar, 1083,868,777,311 //--------------------------------------------------------[Vcockpit03]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=2048,2048visible=0pixel_size=2048,2048texture=$PC-12_VC_MP2gauge00=F1PC12!Airspeed, 70,909,384,384gauge01=F1PC12!Altimeter, 1170,884,392,390gauge02=F1PC12!VSI, 1170,1410,392,395gauge03=F1PC12!Master Caution, 626,599,148,76gauge04=F1PC12!Master Warning, 866,599,148,76gauge05=F1PC12!RMI, 68,1435,380,380 //--------------------------------------------------------[Vcockpit04]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=2048,2048visible=0pixel_size=2048,2048texture=$PC-12_VC_CWgauge00=F1PC12!CAWS, 579,390,860,328//gauge01=F1PC12!EFIS Control Panel, 669,725,681,221Gauge01=ISG1!EFS50_EHSI_CNTR,669,725,681,221,PC12gauge02=F1PC12!Gear Position Indicator, 328,425,180,180Gauge03=ISG1!FMS2_OPEN, 674,725,50,49,PC12Gauge04=ISG1!MCU_OPEN, 1294,725,50,49,PC12

Nice custom work there. I still love flying this plane when I am not doing Flight1 items.
You know what? I saw this post and on a whim, I fired up the old PC-12 on my i2600k and man, it's like a new plane! The dynamics are so nice in Active Sky 2012 turbulence and I can remove all frame limiters and just fly with the internal limiter off! It's awesome! Smooth, and shooting approaches in weather has you bouncing around, etc. I'm now retrofitting the 430s with RXPs and I installed the CS radar in place of the MX20 and you can actually control the radar from within the VC! Lots of fun!K

Are there something bad about the gauges you get when you buy the PC-12 (which I have considered) ? Why replace them and not use what yoy pay for when you get the plane?

actaully, very odd I even asked the question in general.. I've been flying it as is and it has been working great, a great airplane, almost mini airliner type of flying, perfect for air taxi work.

Ciao!

It's not that they are bad, but it is an older sim package with older gauges. Much like a real-world avionics suite, there are newer and more sophisticated glass cockpits which could be fitted into the airplane... which is exactly what the folks here are doing! After many years of faithful service, there's nothing wrong with a little tune up!-Greg
