Paul....when you add the next pole...could you include....have you been successful in preforming 1 flight without a freeze,second...did the freeze happen after the use of the FMC-CDU,...as in my case I cannot preform one flight , the freeze takes placenormanally while I am putting the flight plan in..or just after completeing it and will freeze before pushback, and if not then..it will freeze in taxi to the runway or wait until the climb out..never allowing to get past 4000ft. even if I do not mess with FMC ..and just take off..I will get the freeze shortly after..and be unable to complete the flight, Sorry, but that is the way it is, I had to lie in the pole up above...as you left out the video memory of 1.94.4 ..and the 1200 watt power unitCheersDon Nelson

Also need the choice of "no addon airports installed", or "no freezes at addon airports" or maybe even "other addon aoirport not listed"

i7 3770K HT, 8GB RAM, nVidia 980GTX, Win7, P3D 3.4, FSG mesh, UTX, GEX, ST, ASA16/ASCA, NickN optimized

You forgot "no hotfix installed"
yes that the question i was looking for since the only freeze i had was changing window modes seaching the web all the time, i havnt installed any hotfixes at all yet

The pole proves nouthing and at least not airport or texture addons as many seem to be convinced of. I shall reinerate not a computer thing!
If you knew what the problem was you woulda fixed it for us by now? In the meantime please participate in the poll or start you own. Thanks....

The option None is at the Bottom of the Airports
I think that this is a great idea, but the problem is you have asked too many questions, the answer will get lost in the data.
Only thing I wanted to find out in this poll was Hardware and Software Configurations the majority were using. Will be more finely detailed in Part 2 of this Poll.

Windows 7 64-bit / FSX with Acceleration / Real Environment Xtreme / None (default airports) / "Service Pack": tried them all. Vanilla, Hotfix 1, 2, 3, RTM download / Quadcore / 4 Gig / 1Gig / 750 Watts / Different drive. Also noteworthy: I only experience instrument/control freezes (aka "panel freeze") of the aircraft. I don't experience any FSX crashes (CTD etc.).Also noteworthy: no problems at all with any of my over 40 other addon aircraft. Well I tried to remember as many Video Memory Configurations as I could but I obviously missed some. And as for the 1200 watt power supply I didn't go any higher than 1000 watts cause if you have that much power your Golden anyway and Power is not an issue. Ticking the 800 to 1000 watts is good enough and the closest option to your Video Memory.
