September 23, 201114 yr Sometimes when flying in FSX, the 'Loading Complete' pop-up window will keep popping up and the scene will reload again and again. Then all of a sudden it stops... Then it starts again a random amount of time later. In the past, with Windows XP, I don't remember this happening.Since I use Windows 7 64, it seems to be a regular, allbeit random, occurence. Is there any way to stop this 'Loading Complete' popping up randomly and ruining the immersion? I thought that it might be related to using a lot of dense scenery like Orbx but my flight last night, out of KBMI, was using stock scenery. It happened a lot at the beginning of that flight, so much that I wanted to ask if anyone else has this problem. September 23, 201114 yr Interesting that you mention this. I don't notice it popping up when flying but sometimes when I shut down the sim, it is there behind the FSX window for a brief moment. Do you fly in windowed or full screen. I fly in full screen. Makes me wonder if things are reloading and causing an occasional stutter. September 23, 201114 yr I have this too. In my case, i'm 99% certain that it's Ultimate Traffic2 injecting traffic. If I switch traffic to zero in UT2, it stops!. Never got much help from their forum on it though. September 23, 201114 yr This happens if you are using any time sync program or even the time sync option in FSUIPC. I use UT2 and have never seen this.

I've been using UT2 since it came out and never had this happen, actually I have never had it happen period. Like Jim mentinoed, I have heard it happen when using a time sync program. September 23, 201114 yr Does that include the time sync in ASE. What FSUIPC, ASE and FSX setting do I need to change to make it stop. I always figured it was harmless, and it probably is, but anything loading on a regular basis is something I want to avoid (UT2 and ASE weather excluded). September 23, 201114 yr Hi, There is no time sync option in ASE or FSX, only FSUIPC from your list. I'm not clear on time sync and FSUIPC. What is the purpose of this?
September 23, 201114 yr The registered version of FSUIPC has an option to keep FSX time synced to your computer clock. The problem is that a minute in FSX is not a true minute. Time it and you will see. Also, any time spend paused or in a menu also stops the FSX clock from running. Now, if the sync is more than 2 minutes it triggers a refresh in FS and that is what people are seeing. There are other programs that do this as well.

September 23, 201114 yr Author Thank you very much Jim.I never would have thought that this setting, in FSUIPC of all places, was the cause of this... Ryzen 5800X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, Windows 11
September 23, 201114 yr FS Real Time and any other program that has a time sync option. Surely you know what programs you are using with FSX! (Yep, I called him Surely!) Disabling issues? The time in FSX will drift away from your system clock. That's about it!!

September 23, 201114 yr Darn, I don't have that option checked in FSUIPC and I don't have any programs that are designed to sync the time. I guess my thought was there may be something that does sync the time but it isn't obvious that it has that option.
