OK, I just HAD to come here and say this.... I did it! laugh.png I did the tut.
I am proud of you kid. I can't tell how many times I had to carry my "buddies" in the infantry: I always felt, that given a chance you would "take the first step".Remember, this is just the beginning of your journey. The more "good" stuff you have in your head, the better your chances of succeeding: this means, that you MUST continue to read, "watch" and follow along with every scrap of information you can find. The day may come when you become a "real" pilot. Keep up the good work: focus.

Hehe! Thanks! I hope they release the tutorial 2 soon! But you're right, it isn't a long flight at all. It took me a little longer though because my computer is @$#%, but other than that I landed pretty smoothly... And whoever designed runway 18R at Schiphol is a crazy dude.... It's like 3 miles from the airport, and you have to take 30 taxiways to get to the gate. I also need Track IR... Does anyone know where I can get the version that comes with the Pro Clip, that isin't from NaturalPoint.com? I bought it off Amazon, but when it arrived, it was without a Pro Clip, which is a must for me, so I returned it.

I would suggest you contact NaturalPoint about the Clip. I use EZDOK and my Cyborg x and, I have not looked into Trackir. http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/04-community/community-forum-entrance.html http://www.naturalpo...upport/contact/ http://www.naturalpoint.com/

I did. I also contacted Amazon, but they both said that they can't verify which Track IR devices sold at Amazon come with the Pro Clip or not... Stupid in their parts. The sad thing is that all the reviews of the Track IR on Amazon say that it comes with the Pro Clip...

Thank you very much. BTW, I love how you say "aeroplane" instead of "airplane"!!! biggrin.png

OK, I just HAD to come here and say this.... I did it! laugh.png I did the tut. flight, and all went well. I have a much better understanding now of the FMC, SIDs and STARs, and how the approach works at Schiphol... I'll have to do it multiple times until I can finally do it out of my head, and that I can do other flights as well. This was my first complete flight in the NGX, and this was also my first "Cross the Pond" flight, in any aircraft. I can't wait for tutorial # 2. Praying.gif I was going to record me doing the flight, but it was kinda loud in my house, so I ditched the idea. Anyway thanks Ryan! im%20Not%20Worthy.gif
Congrats! It's definitely way more satisfying flying with the real systems rather than the FSX default GPS.

Oh yes! Especially the reverse thrust sound... Love it! (The one that happens immediately after you engage it...)

Enjoy being played? Didn't you look at his desktop?
Had another look, could not see anything that would point to something. Missing NGX livery manager icon ? but that could be hidden behind the SB window.

You could have very easily went to naturalpoint and purchased the proclip by itself. Why do you have to buy EVERYTHING from Amazon? Buy it from the company itself, NaturalPoint.
