September 29, 201114 yr Hi all A couple of years ago I used FsPassengers without the PMDG, this lead to the ability to press 'a' and then for example 37000, at which the MPC changed to FL370 Afterwards I discovered the PMDG, but this ability stopped working. Is this a known issue and can I do something about it? It would be a nice addition as instead of scrolling. Thanks! Peter Aerts
September 29, 201114 yr Well, I think the PMDG has a much more komplex Autopilot than the default aircrafts.Fspassengers does only work with the normal aircrafts. Even if it doesn´t work with shortcuts, for me, this isn´t an issue. Jan Reineke
September 29, 201114 yr Commercial Member PS Passengers only works with planes that use all of FS's default, built in settings. PMDG and most other major developers create their own instruments and therefore things like FS Passengers or other autopilot type add-ons will not work. Noah Bryant
September 29, 201114 yr Hello, This is partly true, FSpassengers x works somewhat with NGX, for instance if you check the gross weigth of the plane and check it after you loaded fspax you see that this is changed. Also the fuel problems witch occured with the pmdg 747 has fannished, Also can you choose FSpax last save in the pmdg 737ngx FMC.I use FSpax in combination with the ngx with no problems at all. kind regards. September 29, 201114 yr How do you solve the fuel issue? +1 Chris Verner Home cockpit builder ...well trying anyway
September 29, 201114 yr And easy tuning of COM's, Transponder, NAV and ADF still works with FsP+NGX. Gerrit
September 29, 201114 yr The NGX is an advanced aircraft and does not work with the default FSP Fuel loader. I disable Fuel and payload in FSP for that particular aircraft and load the aircraft manually using the FMC for Fuel/Payload. Teofilo Homsany

September 29, 201114 yr Author Ok, no problem at all, just a minor inconvienence. How many of you use FsPassengers? I have the impression it's not that popular? Peter Aerts

September 29, 201114 yr How do you solve the fuel issue?Hello, With the pmdg 747 i change the amount of fuel in preflight so i get the popup (no refuel allowed in flight) en press ok en can use fspax during the flight without any problems. With the pmdg 737NGX i fill (in fspax) the same amount of fuel as in the FMC en had never seen a popup (no refuel allowed during flight). I always use fspax and must say that things have changed for the better within the NGX. kind regards, Willem Terpstra (netherlands) I7 2600k oc 4.4 Ghz P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Artic freezer 13 pro 8Gig Ram Asus 560TI Top 925Mhz Win 7 64 Bit
September 30, 201114 yr Ok, no problem at all, just a minor inconvienence. How many of you use FsPassengers? I have the impression it's not that popular? It's developer is an arrogant biggot who did zero support for his product for ages now. Avoid like the plague!!
September 30, 201114 yr 1- FsP developper is back on stage for some weeks, with a service pack to come for both FSX and FS9 versions. (And yes, after sales is done by its forum members 2- I use FSPax without any problem on the NGX. As told before, just set Fuel via the FMC. Set FMC payload to "empty". Launch FSPax, set the desired payload, both passengers and freight, et voila, it works like a charm. So, no Fuel via FSPAx, but Payload is OK. That's simple.
September 30, 201114 yr Now that's also parly true, The only way Dan responses is by e-mail, but never seen him answering any items on his forum. The patch we are waiting for should be ready 2 years ago, and now i'm reading that they are searching for beta testers regarding the update of fspax (so maybe it comes out this year).quote: Dear all,I would need somes beta testers to test the update of FsPassengers04 (x version will follow)Beta test is an essential work, the final result relly for a great part on your job. So if:-You fly often with FsPassengers04 lately-Is at least 18 old-Can read and follow test instructions-Are verbose and can give feedback (this is essential)-Have time for this (may be short for 04 version, one or two month at max).(Date 01-07-11 ) so fingers crossed . I think that we are somewhat spoiled by the excellent support of the pmdg team. kind regards, Willem Terpstra (netherlands) I7 2600k oc 4.4 Ghz P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Artic freezer 13 pro 8Gig Ram Asus 560TI Top 925Mhz Win 7 64 Bit
