October 7, 201114 yr Author My spec is: i7-2600 @3.40 GHz6 GB RAMNVidia GeForce GTX 460Win 7 64 bit Home Premium. This system runs FSX/737NGX at about mid 30s in the air, low 20s on or near the ground. I don't want to prejudice this performance with add ons, but I would like more realistic scenery. Chris Hall.

October 7, 201114 yr My system doesn't like it. I bet. If you pull autogen back.. I was being mostly tongue in cheek, guys. Though it's the perfect recipe.Autogen forward and performance increase, for some. FSX is weird. October 7, 201114 yr What triggered this post was when I took off from Hong Kong and looked at an external view, all I could see was a green and brown landscape with a couple of white rectangles for the city centre. Hi,You should check out FlyTampa's Kai Tak scenery. All their stuff is excellent. Gavin Price
October 7, 201114 yr Might want to try FS Altitude, that's better suited to an airliner for world scenery. It's pricey, but very nice: http://www.fsaltitude.com/index.htm Al I see what you mean, Al. Looks excellent but, as you say, a touch on the pricey side. Iain Smith
October 7, 201114 yr Activesky - Weather FS Global - Mesh Ground Environment X - Ground Textures Real Environment X - Sky and Water Textures Ultimate Terrain X - Terrain Later on you can start purchasing Airport Scenery. To see what everything does and how it affects FSX look up the above products and check out the screenshots and documentation to see what they do. Hi Paul, I would like to know how much your HD is used for this cocktail. My question is because I am thinking in a SSD for my FSX and Addons. October 10, 201114 yr I run SceneryTech USA, GEX, UTX, REX, ActiveSkyEvolution, Ultimate Traffic II, FTX Pacific North West, FSDT/FlightBeam/FlyTampa airports, EZDok, and TrackIR with the PMDG NGX and I get zero CTD's. Hi, To all people having no CTD with lots of sceneries installed :- are you running with the fsx parameters as in the PMDG introduction manuel (paragraph 'FSX In-Game Settings') ? (scenery density, traffic, displayoptions ....). Or did you lower something ?- Do you have lots of other modules loaded in fsx ? (not remembering the file : modules.xml?) that could use lot of memory ?- *Edit : And with lastest 737NGX hotfix ?Thanks for your anwers. Guillaume ------------------ Guillaume CHARRIER
