Fredrik,Extreme FSX (and before FSX Booster) give me around 5 to 10 fps more.So for me it works perfect. Eric

Just be careful with the service killing part of those boosters. People have had activation issues from such programs (not necessarily that specific one) disabling flexnet.

fsx BOOSTER may have caused me a complete system crash. I was using it once, testing the NGX when the computer was restarted while the booster was running, certain services didn't come up correctly, BSOD occurred and to make a long story short... a week of system repair, restore and complete FSX reinstall had to be done. Pure torture, to a system that had no problems at all! Now, I don't use those programs any more and just uncheck the simple boxes in msconfig that I don't want.. .I have gone back to letting Windows run whatever services it wants, minus the stupid things like quicktime and msmessages etc etc.. and I have decided once again to never run any anti virus like MSE (which I like but will manually turn on when I want to) because it all slows down the NGX.

In my system I always kill every program running in background that is not necessary (as the various program update, quick start and so on) plus I often check for new services running that are unnecessary. It is a normal procedure to do that always, fsx or normal PC usage.

I'm using fsps booster v1 and I can say its great! It was recomended to me by a friend and I never fly without it. If I do fly without I wouldn't be able to use the ngx as my fps would be below 6 where as I get 12-15 using it.
