You are aware that by the time a product gets to beta, the major features and goals of the project have been established and finalized. Diploma or not, pilots license or not, Microsoft will listen to beta test input on bugfixes, compatibility, and other technical issues with the product - not feature requests, realism criticisms, or other subjective items.

That is true.Once a beta is ready there is no more room for tweaks, just few HW compatibility tests and drivers checks. ( for free BTW.... )This beta testing action has only the will to publicize the product. What kind of feedback can be released by a occasional gamer ?Maybe he can moan there are no missiles or no cheats to allow hacking multiplayer server sessions with injected Mavericks... and so on..nothing more.
