can you fly the southwest livery and get the skeleton problem too happen.. I think it would be funny considering the two planes that developed holes. I want it for my desktop

I've flown a couple liveries (ASA, SWA, UAL) in 700 and 800 WL variants with absolutely no problems, even in areas in which scenery taxes the system (NYC area, and Seattle w/ ORBX PNW). However, flying the 700 (non WL) in the downloaded SAS livery, up in Norway with default scenery, and when shifting to spot plane view the aft 1/4 of the a/c is skeleton for a split second, then fills is. Have not seen this happen elsewhere. Wrote it down to note and start collecting data.Perhaps time for another format/reinstall...

thats odd. try deleting that livery and reinstalling it. Probably wont fix it but worth a short before a complete reinstall

I have this problem with all livery in 4096 external texture (old config + Windows 32). I found a few in 2048 or 1024 on Avsim library, since I have no more problem with "Skeleton" or AOM.In this regard it would be good to have the choice between 4096 and 1024 external texture like the panel option. I don't know if PMDG has planned to do. I search a good tuto to do it myself with DXTBmp program (I have not Photoshop).Regards,Richard Portier

The Skeleton issue has been around for a long time now. It usually goes away after a split second unless you have a really low end system where it takes longer to load those high res textures. Same thing happens with complex scenery sometimes like when on approach you will see some of the buildings and textures loading for a second or two.But if the issue hangs around longer than a second or two and you see parts of your plane missing there something wrong with the livery. All you need to do to test it is user a different livery. If the problem goes away then stop using the livery that is causing the problem. Also remember that previous liveries made before SP1 should not be used.The big tipoff in the picture above is the black tail. Another guy was having the same problem and it looked just like that. He changed liveries and the problem went away. I am guessing that is a pre SP1 livery from AVSIM? Might also help to post your system specs and where you have FSX installed.

I used the Southwest livery last night and the skeleton issue didn't occur. And the West Jet texture I was using was downloaded right off of the PMDG site itself after installing SP1. Ryan Spicer

I have a high end Alienware Aurora.  I have the skeleton issue all the time, not matter what livery I am using.

I am having this skeleton problem right now with any livery for 736 and 737, even the home PMDG liveries... But if I load any livery of the 738 serie, I have no issue...

Did this happen to anyone?

I'd like to fly the Europe Airpost B737, but the external views are definitely not working.

I've got the solution to my typical problem ... and that could help the other "victims":

 

Indeed I am also using EZDok software that requires to be reconfigured any time a new aircraft is added into the hangar.

Once EZDok re-configured, my B737 series 600 and 700 retrieved its skin .

That was my brick in the wall !
