FSLabs A320x... an interesting post...
I am in the same boat, I bought FSX SE when it was on sale last year just for the FSL bus... I ended up buying the fixer as well but when the P3D version comes out I will switch back to that

FSLabs A320x... an interesting post...
Jose, I think AS16+ASCA are the most underrated and misunderstood add ons this year, some simmers don't get how much of a improvement the effects of weather on the aircraft is in AS16. I think some of the reason for this is a lot of simmers never have flown real aircraft and or only care about the visuals when it comes to weather.

Jose, I don't think it's going to be too long for the p3d version, may not be worth reinstalling FSX at this point?

Unspectactular AS16 and ASCA Thread ?
I don't understand the hate for ASCA? I have it and sim looks way better to me than it did with my prior setup of REX4/ASN. The biggest improvement is near thunderstorms for me. I am seriously wondering if the hate for this product is becaus The Rex sky force video looked incredible so therefore ASCA must suck.... the skyforce video was just that a video... lets see what the real product looks like.

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
The FSL plane is modeled a lot deeper... You really need to experience hand flying and ground handling in this plane.

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
it's in user\appdata\local\microsoft\fsx delete the folder and let FSX rebuild it.

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
Yes, DX10 with the latest fixer Even Some of the early adopters think we are beta testers..... We are not beta testers and the plane is not in beta. We just were crazy enough to sit at our computer reloading the page until we got lucky enough to buy it in the 8 min window it was for sale.

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
Just finished my flight from FSDT KLAX to Flightbeam KSFOHD and I think I got all the kinks worked out in my fresh FSX install. With AI traffic at 20 percent and most sliders to the right ( autogen on normal) With orbx global, OPENLC NA, vector, AS16, ASCA and mytraffic 6 at 20 percent I was between 25-30 FPS This is a major improvement on what I was getting out of this bird on release day 15 or so FPS at default KBOS with no traffic

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
I think you will like it, I will be getting the P3D version as well. I have not been using FSX for over a year but after a few days I got this thing tuned pretty well. By the time the P3d version is out I should have a new 1080 video card, so I am looking forward to that.

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
Very close both in FPS and VAS usage, However I have to say with a bit of messing around with my settings and deleting shaders I am getting a steady 30 at the gate at FSDT KLAX with mytraffic6 AI on 20 percent I am going to fly to fly to flightbeam KSFO.. I am not using the orbx regions but I have vector open LC and global textures installed, using AS16 for weather.

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
I keep reading comments about how more advanced systems don't justify the price. Guys, and Ladies if any are reading this.. You have to fly this plane to believe how good is it, The simulation of the FBW and handling both in the air and on the ground is amazing. Absolutely ground breaking. If you at all into airliners upgrade if you need to or turn down some settings to experience this plane. I have not had performance issues with this plane since I deleted my shader folder, I get locked 30 99 percent of the time maybe dip into the low 20's at worse. My rig is a 6700k @4.6 16 GB 3200 ram and a elderly 4gb GTX670. It is about on par with the PMDG 777 as far as performance goes.

FSX: FSL A320
I don't own the AS bus but I have tried it before on a friends computer and it's not a comparison.. the handling, night lighting and systems are far superior in the FSL bus I am not a eye candy guy but the VC seems to be about the same quality as the AS one to me??

FSX: FSL A320
I got in on the 8 min window for the early adopter and WOW this plane is unbelievable to handfly, this, majestic q400 and the ixeg 737 are the only airliners that I actually enjoy hand flying and feel realistic compared to pireps on handling characteristics. The night lighting on this bird is beautiful and fully adjustable, ground handling is superb and comes with its own custom ground modeling and of course the systems are complete and accurate. FSL raised the bar for FSX, P3D I am really interested in your opinion once you get it.

HD Airport Graphics for P3D/FSX (Zinertek)
Yes, I have it. Works well in p3d v3 stock airports look a lot better, don't expect them to be payware or accurate but they look a lot better than stock.

Revisiting GA flying
He means max RPM you can achieve on the ground, At proper Mixture rpm will be higher than it would too lean or too rich.

Revisiting GA flying
Sorry, wish I knew of a 161 or any later 28 with decent flight modeling... none I have tried flew like the real thing.

Revisiting GA flying
The 161 will fly quite a bit different than the 180 with the Hershey bar wings

Revisiting GA flying
Nice! Love the A2A products, their GA planes with AS2016 is the closest I have been able to get to the real thing in simming. I wish A2A would make one higer performance LSA.

AS16 + ASCA + REX Softclouds?
Very true! When I am tube flying I have to watch the radar closely now!

AS16 + ASCA + REX Softclouds?
Sometimes I think I may be the only one in this hobby that actually cares about how the weather affects the airplane, not just how it looks. If there is any others out there like me, as16 is a Huge improvement, crosswind landings are more challenging, gusty conditions especially challenging now. I also like ASCA, on dynamic theme I get nice solid overcast for some real ifr, never was able to really get that with ASN-rex4
